Probably not, but Bill's legacy is not all she has going for her. She is a very intelligent and knowledgeable woman in her own right. She would triple GWB on an IQ test.

Doesn't a rose by any other name smell as sweet? You seem to think that this woman didn't exist until hubby came along. Not so. She was a very intelligent, practicing lawyer. She was involved in political events and causes. With or without a husband she could well have become a senator and be running for president even if she was called Smith. You see, Hillary, like Bill, doesn't need to be one of the good old boys like Bush to become president. She's got brains!

Her agenda(and oh does she EVER have one) started way before she made sure Bill ( the adulterer) would be Governor. So to answer your question. The name doesn't matter. She just knew when to lie and who to have terminated. Check out all the people close to the Clintons that have died under more than suspicious circumstances. I believe that the latest count is well over 140. Things are not always how they look.
Do the research. You'll find I know my facts.

Lots of Presidents have had connections to someone else who was important before running for the office themselves. FDR was related to Teddy R., John Quincy Adams was the son of our second President, etc. However she got there, she will have been a US Senator for more than 7 years by the next election.

There are better reasons for not supporting her than the connections she used to get where she is. Her support for abortion and capital punishment (with no apparent interest in seeking nonlethal alternatives) are my primary reasons for not supporting her. I'm sure there are other reasons for other people who oppose her.

Shes a senator from the state of NY. Just like every other senator in Washington, the hope of one day hanging their hat in the White House is a large part of their plan.
She was re elected by a large majority in the upstate region of NY which is very Republican. Shes also very smart, and a really hard worker with lots of common sense.

Well I doubt if she would have ever been elected to the Senate if she were not married to Bill. So I guess my answer would be no. Bill is her most positive asset because when she is examined outside of that context she has no other positives in her favor. Hillary is a socialist trying to walk the thin line between the money people who pull her strings and the moderates who would never consider electing her if they take the time to examine her real political leanings.

That's what I don't understand about poeple; this is not the "like mother like daughter" thing. Hillary has been independent of Bill for most of her life, and it has only been recently that Bill came into her life. Meaning that bill only influenced her so much. Her views and statements are her own. I mean you culd say that like father like son (Bush), but Bill and Hillary aren't even blood related!

Personally, I think more and more people are realizing the benefits of having a Clinton in office. Bill Clinton did well in office and the country was better than with a Bush. Sure he had his little scandal but you must realize that he IS human.

People are always going to find a reason to bash the Clintons!!

And Bush got elected because of his daddy! That's the way it works, or haven't you figured that out yet?
