Yes, I personally believe that there was a cover up. A man named Glenn Dennis worked for the US air force, and and met a nurse named Naomi Selff. She worked at the Roswell air base, and told Dennis that she had performed an autopsy on the victims of the crash. She followed with a description that was fitting of the aliens. The children living in Roswell at the time have since been interviewed. A woman, a daughter of a worker at the base, described seeing a material that you could wad up in your hand and then it would spring right back into shape. Allegedly, this was crash debris. When Dennis tried to contact Selff years later, he was tols that no one of that name had ever worked at the base and that she did not exist. There were also rumours that she was killed in an air crash, but this is extremely unlikely seeing as she was a nurse, and it would be completely unecessary for her to board a plane. That sounds like a cover up to me.
Roswell, and the theory of extraterrestrials in general has also been linked to the Marilyn Monroe assassination. She was known to be having a relationship with both of the Kennedy brothers, and so was told some government secrets. Conspiracy theorists claim that she drunkenly revealed the existence of aliens at a party, saying that they had crashed someplace. This may have been the reason why the CIA had her killed.

Well, I hate to disagree with charro, but I think it was very likely. Right after the crash We began to see many developments in technology. I remember when I was a kid microwave ovens were things of fiction. Velcro and other things came out of the space race and it very well could have been from aliens technology.

I was born in 1952 and I have seen many, many fast changes, but the first UFO crash happened in the 1890's and people claim it was a hoax, but you see how we went from horse and buggy to the space age and now the computer age.

So it is very likely.

No, is a hoax.
If they did ,then we would be flying in dishes just like the aliens do, think about it, if any technology was actually gathered at Roswell, then we would be ahead of every one on the earth , but we are not, we are primitive we still get our way by force and military power rather then the techs suppously found at Roswell. So far there is no indication of any intelligence other then us , if we consider ourselves intelligent after the murdering of thousends taking place under the end of our guns.

I think so, yes. I dont believe all the hype out there, but I do think the government covered up the crash of an alien spacecraft.
