All Christians seem to agree that the crucifixion was necessary in order for salvation. In order for this to take place, Judas had to betray Jesus. My question... Why would God's plan involve have Judas as a scapegoat? His betrayal was part of the plan, so really he had NO choice BUT to betray Jesus! Why would a kind, loving God allow a man to be villified throughout history for helping to fulfill God's plan for salvation? You can argue that he had free will, but in essence he didn't, because it was all part of the plan. Why would you want your salvation to ride on the back of this horrible act of betrayal on Gods part?

I have 2 kittens who are sisters and we got them at the same time from someone giving them away. However, one of them chews on a stuffed animal I have and at the same time like claws it with her paws (like she's fluffing it or something). Was she taken from her mother too soon? We've had them since around February, so it's been awhile since they've been with their mom and only our one kitten does that. I was just wondering why and if there is anything we can do for her to make her stop? Thanks!

In 1948, Palestinian Arabs and four Arab members of the UN went to war - not only against Israel, but against the UN decision for a two-state solution in Palestine.
Arabs of Palestine could have had their coutry 59 year if only accepted the UN decision and avoyed all the killings and terror, so what they want now from the Jews?

Einstein's General Relativity equations suggest that the universe started off as an infinitestimal small point, high-energy, very low entropy, singularity. And then rapidly expanded at an enormous speed, cooling, and experiencing phase transitions over time. Has anyone noticed that the starting out very, very small and growing into far larger size seems to be a scheme found throughout nature, especially with life? Here's a parallel: human life starts out relatively small in a high-energy, low entropy state (the fertilized egg), and rapidly grows larger, relatively speaking. As it does so, energy decreases and entropy increases, much as it does with the universe. Does patterns in size, energy, and entropy suggest an underlying commonality in all things in nature? I believe it does just that. For examle, if we want to know about what happen prior to the singularity, just study events in fertilization prior to nuclei fusion and then extrapolate from the patterns.

Any thoughts?

And that was 400 years ago! Obviously, fallibility is a big part of the Catholic organization.

Or maybe the question should have been "Why do people continue with that organization when it has had to pay hundreds of millions due to child-molesting priest scandals?

It gets on my nerves that when we have elections that we always have to vote for some rich person who doesnt know how it is to live as a struggling american. we have a 2 party system of people who preach every 2-4 years and they never really follow through with what they speak about. its not fun going to the polls and having two rich terrible canidates to vote for and i have to choose the lesser evil. Its a sham of a true democracy but people still follow these rich people around and they still vote for them. so what drives everyone to continue to believe in this philosophy of politics?
