These days? Not "little" anymore but fashionably thin, and well turned out in her American designer originals.
Not "old" because what she hasn't managed to take care of by using facial peels and moisturizers since her youth, she has managed to acquire with the help of some world class Plastic Surgeons, who are based in California.
Not a "lady" because that moral set has long gone by the wayside in California especially. She is more likely to be a "green warrior" fighting for environmental issues, and because of this she wouldn't be driving that big old convertible anyway but a Hollywood chic car with the latest in hybrid engines.

Loved Goldwing's ans.
I am planning on getting a motorcycle real soon: A Vulcan 500 or Boulevard 550 and picture this:
Black cycle, rider all in black leather, helmet is orange, red, & yellow dragons. Rider pulls up to a store & whips off helmet: All grey hair & a 62 year old woman. Love it!
That little old lady from Pasadena could never stand up to the Grey Panthers of today, she would be called a whimp.

Ha ha, thats me, because I lived in Pasadena years ago. I'm short, wear glasses, am a tad zaftig, and have light salt and pepper hair. I really doubt that my little Mazda 323 could outrun the police on Colorado Blvd. or anywhere else. However, I have been known to dry my nail polish out the window while driving. For some reason ir seems to drive slowest on my middle finger, left hand!

There was a photo of her on the album. I think it was either Jan & Dean OR the Beach Boys who wrote & recorded the song "It's The Little Old Lady From Pasadena" She was your typical old & grey granny who was driving a GTO! She wore orthopedic shoes, an old housedress, & a hat & gloves. I think she had a pair of glasses worn low on her nose, attached to a chain around her neck, & of course, she had her big old handbag & a sweater in case it got chilly!

I worked with her back in 1966. She was retirement age and drove a souped up car. We both worked for the Pasadena School system and I wished that when I reached retirement age I could be as lively and fun as Mathilde Wallace.
She taught me how to make grilled cheese sandwiches with no stove. Use an iron and foil wrap.
I was about to say they don't make them like that anymore, but they do. God bless them all.

it relatively is the 1st time i've got relatively seen the little old woman from Pasadena--i presumed she'd look lots older by utilising now. I even have, even with the undeniable fact that, had salesmen coach me automobiles she purportedly owned and easily drove on Sundays.

That was then, this is now.
She is wearing a hot pink t shirt with a peace symbol on it, riding a scooter with a pony tail hanging out the back of her helmet, the ponytail a gorgeous shade of platinum grey, streaked with blue, she has on metallic designer shades , jeans and cool sneakers - her "other car" is a mustang convertible - :-) If you have the chance to talk to her you will notice the crows feet but mostly you will notice the smile lines in her face. If you hassle her you will get the finger.

To the lady, who said it was her:
I want to know why are you selling so many used cars. Every used car salesman tell his customers, that "an old lady from Pasadena used to own this car."

You will recognize her with the blue-rinsed pony tail flying behind her as she drives the 210 at 115 mph, followed closely by three of LA's finest...just saw it on channel 5 last night.
