I feel that religion has had a resergence and that people are going back to God. I went to church when I was growing up, My grandmother died when I was 15. and we didn't go any more. When I was first married, I didn't know anyone who went. But now I"m in my 50's and I and my husband go and lots of people we know go also.

I would love to be able to go to a nice, romantic dinner but I can't seem to find a restaurant that will work. My husband is quite the picky eater and would prefer just regular American food, instead of the high-class cuisine that seems to be served all over the strip. Any suggestions?? And if you knew some prices that would help as well :)

Ok, I have blonde chunky highlights all over the top of my head and dark dark brown on the underneith. My hair is layered and down to almost my waist. I just started a new outside sales position and need a more "professional" color and style. I just had twins several months ago so I have a round face. My twin sister keeps being repeatedly abused by her husband, & when he takes the car & leaves her & the kids, that's when she calls telling about what he did to her, but then she always takes him back & betrays the rest of the family for him, & when she sneaks & takes him back, you don't hear from her until he beats on her & leaves her again. & she hides away from the family because she thinks that we're gonna call her stupid for getting back with him after he has beaten her upside the head with a wrench, raped her, & set her up to get raped while pregnant.

I've tried to be supportive & be there for her & help her, but she keeps taking this dude back & then betraying me & making it like I'm the bad person, & it makes me depressed & feel like I did something wrong. & this dude has given her STD's & cheated on her & everything, & she acts like she can't live or function without him. Now she's betrayed me ONCE AGAIN for the nth time, & I'm tired of it! I can't help her anymore.

Why do conservative Christians refuse to see this and justify their hatred and paranoia for gay people with vague descriptions about sexual morality that aren't even the words of Christ Himself?
How can they at the same time support any war and do it so easily as they do simply ignoring one of the corner stones of His teachings that is very clear?Love your enemies,do good to those who harm you.How do they do it?Is it selective Christianity?

I know this sounds silly. But I really love this guy. We've only been together a few months, we are both in our 30's. When we are together we can talk for hours, but since he left for training for Iraq, it seems like when he calls I can't think of anything to talk about. I love to talk to him on the phone, I just go braindead and can't think of anything to say. This is his second trip to Iraq. I have never dated a service man before him. Any good talking topics would be appreciated :)

I've heard some people claim that the record companies are being immoral by ruining people's lives for what amounts to petty theft. This is similar to cutting off someone's hand for stealing a loaf of bread.

Therefore, it is claimed, that we are obligated to perform civil disobediance and refuse to give one more penny to the greedy record labels, and therefore we should not buy any musc.
