He's been divorced 4 years and she reeks all the havoc she can. We've been together since January and he wants to get married. His only child is 13 years old. I have never received child support but I know it can be a bear. What would you suggest? Last Friday, he was upset because $900 came out of his check. He says he pays $685.00 each month for one child.

Basically, she has a newborn son, which she has named Johnathan. I have accidentally called him John several times, although I am trying to respect her wish. We got in an argument today, because I told her that she should have thought about naming him Johnathan if she didn't want anyone to call him John.

She said that people need to respect her wish or they don't have to be around the baby. I explained that I will definitely try to respect her wish, but she is going to be fighting the world all of his childhood life.

I have chosen to try not comment on the subject anymore and try hard to call him just Johnathan, but it is actually getting under my skin.

My personality is not the type to walk on eggshells, and I am trying to not argue with her about her wish. I just feel that it will be very challenging.

Am I out of place or overreacting? What do you think about the situation? I cherish this 15 year friendship.

I'm currently knitting a sweater for a friend, and I think it's going to be a bit short for him. I haven't sewn up the sides yet - is it possible for me to take out the ribbing at the bottom, knit some more (it's a simple stockinette stitch), add ribbing and bind off? Would the stitches I add on look upside down, since the sweater was made bottom-up, but the addition would be top-down? This may not even be possible, just wondering. Thanks!

Why do so people tan? I go to high school and it like an epidemic..every girl wants to be tan and they all "lay out" and go to tanning salons and some use spray-on tan. I go to the beach since I live in Florida and instead of laying out like me by the pool where it's in the shade where the sun is blocked by the building, the girls PURPOSELY lay on the sunny and much hotter side where the harmful UV rays are! Can someone please explain to me WHY so many people want to be tan and expose themselves for long periods of time (And max. the area exposed!) purposely harming themselves with full knowledge of it! most ppl will tell u smoking is bad, especially kids..its even taught in most American schools and theres commercials (Truth)..y is tanning left out of that? Why dnt most ppl say tanning is bad since its also cancerous? is it intentional and voluntary neglect b/c they dnt want 2 think it's true? for the ppl about 2 answer that it looks healthy/vibrant, r u aware its not? (address that)

i know a friend her husband has be gone for over 4 months in another state and he says he coming back then he says he wants her to go where he is. mind you he doesn't have a job or a place to stay and she won't either. then he says he is coming back and then he says he isn't. she finally told him that if he dosn't come back soon that is its over. after 4 months of back and forth not making up his mind at the very last moment he says he got a call for an interveiw . his wife has had a job for the last 6 months where he hasn't had one for almost a year.

A cowboy is riding across the plains of the old west, when he is captured by Indians. The tribe puts him on trial for crimes against the Indian Nation, and he is found guilty.
"You have been sentenced to death," said the Chief, "but, as is our custom, you have three wishes to make as your last requests."
The cowboy thought for a minute and said, "Well, for my first wish, I'll need my horse."
"Give him his horse," said the Chief.
The cowboy whispered something into the horse's ear, and the horse took off like a shot across the prairie. Twenty minutes later, the horse returned with a beautiful blonde woman on its back. The cowboy looked at this, shrugged his shoulders, and helped the young lady off the horse. He then took her into the woods and had his way with her.
"Second wish," said the Chief.
"I'll need my horse again," said the cowboy.
"Give him his horse," said the Chief.
Once again, the cowboy whispered into the horse's ear, and once again the horse rode off over the prairie. Thirty minutes later, the horse returned with a beautiful brunette on its back.
The cowboy looked up and shrugged, helped the young lady off the horse, and went into the woods, same reason as before.
"This is your last wish," said the Chief, "make it a good one."
"I'll need my horse again."
"Give him his horse," said the Chief.
The cowboy grabbed each side of the horse's head, and put his face right up to the horse's.
"I said POSSE!"

I want to go on a cruise on September. I have two preferred options for 5 nights and the same price. Bu I can't decide!!! One is Carnival going to Half Moon Cay, Nassau and Turks. The other is Royal going to Ocho Rios and Grand Cayman. I'm traveling with small kids. I'm interested in beautiful beaches and relax. Some people say that Royal is better in service and food. Some other say that Carnival has more activities. I just don't know what to choose. Could you please help?

in his car along with cds with a girls name on them. He stayed out late and sometimes did return at all. He refused to go to counseling and denied everything. ( I wanted to leave but our finances are too tied up and our house won't sell. can't ruin my credit because I need it to help get a place when I leave.) He wanted to be intimate with me after aobut 8 months, I said not without protection and explained why, he just said ok and rolled over! It has been 11/2 years since we have been intimate. He is now comming home and says that he wants to work things out. Even when he is being nice, I hate to be around him. He has cheated in the past. I forgave him. He swears that he didn't cheat this time.
I am so sad, that it is hard to go on. I don't believe him. I can't leave, cause our house won't sell. I don't have concrete evidence like i did the first time. I would hate to leave on just circumstantial evidence. We have 4 kids.I am so sad and so angry. How can I feel better?
