My parents wont let me get dreads or a myspace. How can I convince them to let me?

Well, since your trust with them is already blown, you're probably just gonna have to wait until you move out.

You could try sitting down with them and letting them know WHY you want myspace. Offer to give them the passwords so they can see for themselves what you do on there. Of course, after they approve you could always set up a second one.

As for the dreads, I have no answer as to how to get them to approve it. Teenagers get dreads to fit in with a certain crowd usually. If your parents don't approve of the crowd you hang with, they prolly won't let you. And dreads are not that easy to grow if you're white.

Untill you can do these three things, you will have to follow the rules your parents set. You may not like it, but you have to deal with it!

Do something way worse, such as smuggling cuban immigrants or cocaine into the country or declaring independence from their tyranny and then bargaining until you get the dreads and/or the myspace. its all about size when comes to shocking matters
