I have been working at Wal-Mart as a cart pusher for 1 1/2 years and it really sucks. It's either too hot or too cold, scheduling does not work for my college classes and it is the worst job in America. We get paid the lowest salary and they don't care about us or my college schedule. There is NOT one damn thing delightful about this job. I was awarded Cart-Pusher of the Year and a $25 bonus added to my check, but I am calling this a "Mercy Gift." I am transferring to a larger college this fall and I don't care if they don't like my new college schedule. What am I to do?

I'm part Greek, part Egyptian and am a good Christian. Born and raised in the US. Been told that handsome, but I've been told I come across cocky or that my type like to mess around with women and are not serious. Is that a stereotype or what is it that I should change? I'm in my early twenties and in my second year of med school. I am polite with girls though sometimes not affectionate enough, so I may send the signal that I am not interested! Hello ppl. I know many people don't bother reading this, but for sound enthusiasts looking to help a novice with a big pocketbook and a desparate need to upgrade his system, I represent a client looking to upgrade his 25 year old system.

He says he wants it to come with a remote control like his TV, Will work with his old speakers he says he loves too much to part with, and wants to listen to the stereo through the sound system.

Low wattage is OK, It will be used to amplify sound from high definition DVD viewing, HD TV, and projecting the video image. All of these components have already been ordered.

He's only after a 7.1 channel amp/receiver, a sub woofer, a tweeter, and 4 simple, medium quality, small speakers to create the surround sound effect. It is my job to find this.

His hope is that it will cost under AU$400 for all this sound equipment, but I told him that the amp on it's own would be more than $400 AUD.

Who is right?

Just wondering... most songs I've heard, the vocalist obviously stands out, the guitarist stands out the second most, and the drums are very obvious too. So you can tell if someone is a good singer, guitarist, or drummer... but it's very hard to hear a bass, especially in a loud song, where the guitar seems to be taking over everything.

Is it because I listen with my headphones? A lot of people say, "this song has awesome bass" but I can't judge it...
