Well I for one can tell you that I LOVE Mediterranean men. Goodness, they are very hot!!! I love the culture, the food, the entertainment, the architecture, the history and, the sense of family of Mediterranean people. I honestly have always loved the Mediterranean, but it was originally because it was a far of "wonderland," but then when I began researching about the Mediterranean, I fell in love with it all over again.
I don't hear of any stereotypes of Mediterranean people (maybe it's because I'm not older enough) but I always hear good things about the Greeks, and Sicilians and Cretans, and so on. And about you being good christian, I don't know how that is a put off, because I believe that it's a good thing.
About your coldness with women, I would say that you should relax. And I agree with disliking girls that play hard to get, to me, they are psychotic. I'm not saying that I like easy girls either, but one should be balanced. Beside I don't think you have anything to worry about, you're part Greek and Egyptian, you were born with charm and charisma! Good Luck!! *u*

I am half Greek/dutch and when I was a girl I made the decision never to date a Greek man, and I didn't. But now that I have grown up I am seriously rethinking that decision. When I made my decision it was based on a naivete, I only saw the outside of Greek/medditerranean men which is arogant, proud, sometimes very selfish, and dominant. But in growing up I have seen some of the other sides too, though I am still not sure if the good outweigh the bad, but I am starting to think it definitely might. A woman has to work at it but if she does she will find a sensitive spirit, a man who loves his family and would die to protect it, a man who is a thinker and not a follower, a man who could be your best friend as well as your lover, if you would let him be. So my advice to you is to know your faults and work on them but do not be ashamed of your heritage, you are also extraordinary! I think that too often, we think that every second person could be the right match and I believe that to be false. You have not met the right woman yet. Don't settle, she will be extremely worth it! Also one last thought, I am studying to be a nurse so I can tell you this with authority, Dr.'s have a reputation, so part of your problem is also the territory :) Unless there is some truth to the matter which only you and those who know you can judge....:) For encouragement, don't listen to foolish women who don't know that God is our best friend in this life.

From what I've noticed, Egyptians tend to be the crazy romantic ones that are always after some woman lol. I don't know about Greeks though. It could be a partial stereotype people see.
Yeah, the Good Christian part kinda is a turn off to me.
