this applies to all religions:

1. the big three religions believe that God is incomparable, absolute, incomprehensible. if that is the case, how can he get angry, be satisfied, be benevolent? those are human qualities. then, he is comparable to humans, only significantly better. but certainly not absolute.
2. if his stature is so great, why does he demand we worship him or we go to hell? is he insecure about his stature?
3. where is the proof that he is truly a benevolent being? the hurricanes, the senseless destruction, killing in his name, why can't you just admit that if he exists, he may not necessarily be a nice entity?
4. why is it that every tragedy is labeled as a "test of faith" by you? why can't it be a sign that god is a big jerk? i mean, you do believe in signs that show him as a nice entity. why not the other way?
5. why do you believe your life is better than those who aren't religious? is it because, as a person of "faith", you never fail and aren't unhappy?

I recently discovered that my boyfriend has been chatting online with other women and sometimes meeting them for coffee, etc. I don't have a problem with him having female friends, as we don't live very close in proximity. However, I have found some of these chats/emails extremely sexual in nature, but not with the girls that I am aware he has actually met in person. Even though some of the girls he talks to sexually, he has asked to meet, I don't see any evidence that he has actually met them. Should I confront him about this? If so, how do I explain how I know about it without giving up my secret?

Check this out.. My wife in Germany has a German friend whom she is: Female, 50 years old, is 164 meters high, and weighs 50 kg takes multivitamin, workout about 3 times a week; running, aerobics etc. She eats one brotchen in the mornings with three cups of coffee, each cup of coffee she addtionally adds two tablespoon full of instant coffee. She eats lots of sweets and she thinks she is overweight. My wife believes she is not bulimic or anorexia but the point is that the lady thinks that is better to be underweight than overweight. My wife said to her that it is dangerous to be underweight.The lady does not believe it. When my wife researched in the internet all that she found was that underweight people might have vitamin deficiency, problem with her period, anemia, but really nothing else compared to overweight people which have a mountain of things that can go wrong including heart attacks.If a person does not have Anorexia or Bulimia is it dangerous to be underweight?if so, How?

Hi everyone i'm a christian and try to follow The God's word everyday but how do you forgive someone, when they don't deserve to be forgiven? I'm still upset about a cop shooting in NY City last monday, unfortunatly PO Russel Timoshenko passed away on saturday, and I really can't not find even a gram of forgivness in my heart for 3 suspects , nor i can't understand how can you just shoot someone point blanck and just go on with your life!!!!!!!!!! People like that make me sick!!!!!!

Get a pit bull. Yesterday a couple religious folk (I didn't get a chance to figure out what group they were from) came a-knocking on my door and I was quite excited to have a discussion with them. But they took one look at my pit bull through the screen door and said they'd come back at another time.

I was a bit surprised at how easily discouraged they were. I was open and friendly and ready to hear what they had to say, but one look at my dog (who was wagging his tale, not barking or growling) and they couldn't get off my doorstep fast enough.

Aren't these people supposed to be tenacious? I mean, if you’re trying to save my soul you gotta work for it. Have you ever had an experience where an evangelist was scared off a little too easily?

This is going to sound like a strange question. What is it that causes some men to become violent towards their partner when she becomes pregnant. Homicide is one of the leading causes of deaths in pregnant women (Laci Peterson and Jesse Davis) in the US. Some studies have shown that domestic violence increases when a woman is pregnant. Can someone explain to me what goes through these guys' heads? Don't hold back. I really want to know.

I am getting a little sick of doing all the work to get a girl. I would like to be pursued for once. Why is it so hard for a woman to pursue a man? To let him know she's got her eye on him? I am 18 weeks pregnant and still experiencing morning sickness. I have only gained 5 pounds. I don't eat healthy b/c i try to eat things that I will be able to keep down.
