this applies to all religions:
1. the big three religions believe that God is incomparable, absolute, incomprehensible. if that is the case, how can he get angry, be satisfied, be benevolent? those are human qualities. then, he is comparable to humans, only significantly better. but certainly not absolute.
2. if his stature is so great, why does he demand we worship him or we go to hell? is he insecure about his stature?
3. where is the proof that he is truly a benevolent being? the hurricanes, the senseless destruction, killing in his name, why can't you just admit that if he exists, he may not necessarily be a nice entity?
4. why is it that every tragedy is labeled as a "test of faith" by you? why can't it be a sign that god is a big jerk? i mean, you do believe in signs that show him as a nice entity. why not the other way?
5. why do you believe your life is better than those who aren't religious? is it because, as a person of "faith", you never fail and aren't unhappy?

1. This is a serious question; I am waiting for someone to change my mind.
2. If god is omnipotent, we simply cannot have free will; this is a contradiction. If he is omnipotent, he must also know the future. If he knows the future, our paths are already laid out. free will then is simply an illusion, not a reality.
3. saying that humans simply can't understand certain aspects of faith and god, is a lame excuse not to struggle for the answers and a clear fear of the possibility, that what we may come to know may not be favourable.

1) He is absolute and does not get angry and all the other things you said. People are created in his form meaning physically we look like him, not the acts we do.
2) He does not demand worship. He gave us free will and after the act of adam and eve he gives us a chance to salvation if we believe in him.
3) He is a nice entity because of his teachings. An evil entity would not want to give the world salvation. Also there is no proof hes real nor fake, its whether you believe thats it.
4) Every tragedy is not god's work. Its nature. Its our work because of our hate and abuse of this world.
5) We don't believe that at all. An atheists life style is usually the same as a modern religious life minus the religion. As long as they are moral then we have no problem, they live just like us.

1. Comparable, but significantly better is a contradiction in terms. We describe God using concepts that humans understand.
2. He is not insecure. But He does know what is best for us. Humanity is bound for chaos. God brings order into our lives.
3. When Adam sinned, he threw the earth into that chaos.
4. Tragedy is not just a test of faith. It is a part of the natural order of the earth.
5. My life is better, not because I never fail and am never unhappy. I do fail. And at times I'm unhappy. But I never have to deal with it alone.

Why do you not read the bible and find the answers for yourself? why attack God whom you do not even know and have a distorted belief of Him? Do your own research and then make your call. You cannot put God at man's level, He is omnipotent, omnipresent and the creator. He does not demand us to worship Him or we go to hell, you see that is one of your untrue statements which you hide behind. We are the guilty parties of sin and deserve hell, but God in His love and kindness provided an "out" for us by providing the only sacrifice acceptable. All we are asked to do is have the faith to believe that Christ can save us from our sins through His death on the cross. You can smarten up and find the truth by reading the book of John or go on being a jerk , slamming God because of your ignorance of Him. I hope you will search out the truth as I did, I too was just as you are. Cheers mate!

1. God is Omnipotent - All powerful, He is Omniscient - All knowing - Omnipresent - Everywhere all the time. He uses human attributes, only because we need them, However God is unchangable, immutable, He cannot lie, He can and has the right to get angry, over sins,
2. God is beyond your comprehension and mine and every one else. His own nature as Holy, Holy Holy requires that all worship him and him alone - of which all creatures He created was made to worship adore and honor Him as God Almighty, The LORD of all. He does not need us, he called us formed us out of His Love.
3. he things that you are using are not the result of God's love or benevolence or his anger, but are a result of a creation that is suffering for man's sins, and in the fall of Adam, all creation fell, and suffers, and causes such things to come to pass - God howeve does use them to bring people into acknowledging Him, and bring them into a relationship with Him, but He does not bring them to pass. (there are several philosophical debates on if he does or not)
4/ Faith is the way we live, that we trust God for all things, that no matter what we are going through at the time that we are trusing in him to bring us through them - I have a phrase - if God brought you to it - He will also bring you through it - that is if you trust Him completely to do it.
5. We fail, and there are times that we are unhappy, failing doesnt always mean we sin in the failing unless it is failing God or failing to follow his commands. Unhappiness is result of condtions depending upon what those conditions are, and again this does not mean that we have sinned, but we need to check and make sure our relationship with God is up to date and personally growing and maturing.

1) Deities are always a reflection of their followers. Humans are by nature ego-centric. They see God(s) as merely a reflection of their own needs/wants.
2) Only the Abrahamic religions preach Hell. However, it is worth noting that many religions have had gods who are attention needy. But those gods are usually not seen as infallible, they are usually part of a pantheon and are jealous of the other gods. It is interesting that a God with no competition and unlimited power, according to the Bible etc, is also so interested in the lives of humans. Very personification sounding, hmm?
3) Again, only the Abrahamic religions claim an all-powerful God, etc. However, I'm sure that someone will mention that Satan is his nemisis. Interesting that God created Satan, no? And gave him that kind of power... As for humans being the root of all evil, according to them, he created us exactly as we are too.
4) Not a test of faith. Life is a test, and there are no do-overs because this is all we get. It has nothing to do with faith and everything to do with survival.
5) I don't beleive that I have a better life than anyone. My religion reccognises that everyone has their own path to walk, and all paths are equally valid. It's all about pluralism, not absolutism.

there's a international view that asserts that we are all one being, and that the duality or multiplicity which you spot around you is an illlusion. Time, as you're used to defining it, is an phantasm. in case you pass into the unified field of information (that has been shown to exist), time is a relative issues because of the fact there, all cases coexist on an identical time. this suggests which you're a factor of who i'm. i'm area of who you're. And we are (our relational identity is) additionally a distinctive identity. Reincarnation starts to make an excellent variety of sense - minus the non secular distortions - once you think approximately the size of an eternity. it would get extremely uninteresting to on no account evolve, does not it? it would make a lot greater sense to have the skill to stay in any historic context or in line with danger a living being context (like a gay or a bigot or a wooded area or a galaxy or a existence variety from yet another planet) as quickly as you upload faith, inspite of the indisputable fact that, some ignorant and insecure demigod rises and tells human beings a thank you to think of so as that they replace into insecure. concern breeds blunders of concept.

Break free of the opposites. Opposites aren't opposed at all they are complimentary or totally dependent upon each other. God has no opposite. Only the mind stands between God and Himself- or his creation. You seem to fault the Deity for all occurrences, natural or man-made. If man makes his own God, he will eventually turn against him. Faith means that you don't know and that is hopelessness. What IS is just that, why blame God for anything? To blame him we must make an image to blame, and as you said - Incomprehensible!

Hmmm.. sounds to me like you think that you can understand the answers to those questions.. as a Christian.. I know that I cannot understand everything about God and therefore what I know is not exact and is explained in many ways...
We will learn the answers to those questions when we return to Heaven...
He gives us our Agency to choose.. we do not HAVE to return to Heaven...
God does not punish us.. we punish ourselves...
If we do not live righteously then God does not give us the blessings that are reserved for those who do...
I don't believe that God makes bad weather.. but perhaps He does make better weather for those who pray for it...
I pray that someday you will once again listen to the Holy Ghost.

God doesn't demand we worship him. He asks us too and gives us free will to do so or not. Also God doesn't cause natural disasters nor does he allow/disallow human actions such as murder, rape or incest. Because he wants us to worship him of our own free will we have freedom to choose our actions here on earth. Therefore some people choose to do evil things. Plus everyone forgets there is another force that is active in this world and that is Satan. He puts evil thoughts in our minds and if we are not spiritually healthy then those thoughts can consume us.
