Yes, there is such a thing as sexual addiction. There is even a recovery program called Sex Addicts Anonymous.
Sex addiction is when the normal sex drive becomes excessive leading to sexual behavior that is out of control. Sex addicts crave the "high" they feel from the hormones released during sex. Sex becomes everything...those addicted can't get enough of it and it destroys their life, their relationships, etc.
