In grades K-12 a "C" grade is "average" -- it is the lowest grade you can get and still be considered "on grade level." It is an okay grade. An "A" or a "B" is much better. A "D" is below grade level and is not a good grade--it means that you will have great difficulty taking the next level class, and anything below that is considered a failing grade and you would have to repeat the class.
In most undergraduate college courses, a "C" is the lowest grade you can get and still pass the course and take the next course in the series.
In graduate school, anything less than a "B" is unacceptable.

A "C" is an average grade. If you did your best and received a C, then you did just fine. You're on grade level. If you slacked off and felt you could have done better then please do so next time. Getting a C on 1 or 2 assignments shouldn't effect your overall grade if you are making A's and B's on all other assignments in the same subject.
As long as your giving it your all then absolutely any grade is acceptable.

A C is a ok grade, but it only means average. That means that you get some of the information but you don't understand the rest. If you do get a C, you should listen to your teachers more, study harder, and turn in all of you homework. Also, a C means you are in danger of a D or F, which you don't want to get.

A C is considered to be average. If you consider average to be a good grade, then so be it. I prefer to be less than average, so I prefer A's and B's. However, some people have to work really hard to get C's...it just depends on the person.

c is an okay grade, but it means avgerage. I would try for a B- or a A next time. I get in trouble for getting any C or B grades. if your parents are strict than no a c is not a good grade.

which means average then finally an F would mean Failure.
