My point is that Christians have had a persecution complex going on for so long that they occasionally experience mass paranoid delusions.
I’m not trying to imply that every Christian is in need of therapy.
I am saying that just because large majorities of people believe something doesn’t in any way help prove its true.
I don’t even believe it’s a Christian thing particularly; it’s a majority thing.
Christianity gives the majority the moral authority to come to wrong conclusions, just as Paganism gave the Roman Emperors and Senate the moral authority to mismanage the peoples of their time.
Christianity was the New Age philosophy at one time.

The Unsung Heroes of Mother Earth

Grey, red, sandy and black
Lying in a heap as though dumped from a sack
Hard, irregular and unfeeling
They lie there dormant, without apparent meaning
Each one forged from the bowels of the earth
Common, yet each one with its own particular worth
Grey, which was fashioned into axes and arrowheads
Red, mined for the ore it shed
Sandy, which was carved into blocks to make walls
Black, which was burned to give warmth within the halls
At first lifeless and inert they appear
Yet, these minerals have sustained mankind for many a year
Giving warmth, security, shelter and tools
They helped primitive man to walk tall
And turned wandering tribes into great nations
These simple stones, have been the jewels of civilisation.

in my left eye. It's actually in the corner of my eye. I wear glasses and have astigmatism and I've never experienced this. It's bothering somewhat since it obstructs my vision where that light is because it's just flashing. What could it be? Do I need to check my eyes right away or can it wait to see if it leaves on it's own? This barely started to happen about an hour ago. Has anyone with eye problems experienced this?

Why do we spend our lives struggling? Isn't life about living and happiness? I struggle to succeed and in success brings happiness. So I guess happiness and struggle go hand in hand. We all must risk something to get where we want to be. In the end, is it worth all the years of stress and anxiety? I live my life with never-ending optomism. I think that everyone cares about one another, even though the things I see would suggest otherwise. I think we are in this world to get along and be happy, even though the turmoil leads me to believe we are all in it for ourselves. People need to relize that we are all human and must work together. As the earth grows smaller and smaller, we must see this as our means of survival.
