Hi,
Is there a way to measure blood glucose level at home? I mean does some handy, small and affordable equipment comes, using which I could keep track of my glucose level, as I suspect not being regular with my glucose level as a result of not proper meals.
Thanks

I am not suffering from diabetes, and neither suspecting it. The reason of posting the question in this forum is that I have found this forum quite active and thought that the question was also somewhat related!

Glucometers which measure your blood glucose cost $50 and up. The cost over a lifetime is not the machine but rather the test strips which can cost more than $1 each. Thus - your choice of a machine ought to be strongly influenced by the price of the strips. Yes - physicians have access to free glucometers. I do not give them out as they are typically those with the most expensive strips. As such I do not feel as if I am doing anyone a favor by giving them a free monitor knowing they will not be able to afford the test strips.

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.

I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

You will need a blood glucose meter. You can buy one at your local drug store, but I would check online and see if any pharmaceutical companies offer them for free. Many times companies will give your their meters for free because you will need to continue to buy their brand of test strips.

Try Googling "blood glucose meters" and see what you come up with.

It's great that you are taking responsibility for your health. Proper diabetes care can add years to your life!

I live in England and we get all our diabetes things for free.

I have heard Americans say that Walmart has inexpensive testing meters and testing strips.

Sometimes stores and companies will have special offers on testing machines, where you buy one and then send them proof of purchase and it's virtually free. The companoies make their money on the testing strips and not the machines.

Use a meter. Most are small and fairly inexpensive.
