Other than replacing the whole window?

My vinyl windows gave up the ghost at 18 yrs. The warranty said 20. The company who install them said the brand I purchased was no longer in business. He said he'd replace them with new ones (I never heard of the company) and only charge for the cost of the windows. Big deal! This spring I hired a carpenter and he replaced everything with Great Lakes foam filled dual pane inert gas white vinyl windows - lifetime warranty! When he pulled the old ones out he made a point in showing me that the first vinyl windows had no insulation packed around the frames. As if I didn't already didn't know something was wrong. In the dead of our Up State NY winters I could feel the wind whistling around the frames even though they were siliconed in.

The new ones are light years ahead of old design. Tight and quiet. Full screens instead of gapping old ones.

Here is an old realtor's trick for windows with broken seals:

Remove one piece of glass, so that they are no longer double-paned! Right, it doesn't insulate as well, but it stops the
water condensation from being trapped.

Once the weather starts getting cold the air will condense (temperture difference between inside and outside) between the panes.

I'm afraid not.. I just replaced all the windows in my home because of that same problem. I bought Anderson Renewals. Not the cheap crap Anderson sels in Home Depot. You have to go to their wed site and fine a dealer in you area. Mine are guaranteed for 20 years and I love them.

Not that I am aware of, it has condensation because it is no longer sealed.

It will be cheaper to replace the glass panels than to try and repair it.
