The people are nice. It seems that governments are always suspicious of each other, but the people are genuinely nice.

The top brass from the Army, Navy and Marine Corps were arguing about who had the bravest troops. They decided to settle the dispute using an enlisted man from each branch.
The army general called a private over and ordered him to climb to the top of the base flagpole, then let go with both hands and salute. The private quickly complied.
Next, the admiral ordered a sailor to climb the pole, polish the brass knob at the top, salute smartly and jump off. The sailor did as he was told and landed on the concrete below.
Finally, the marine was told to do exactly the same as the Army and Navy men but in full battle gear, pack filled with bricks and loaded weapon carried high. He took one look at the major general and said: 'you’re out of your mind, sir.'
The marine commander turned to the others and said: ‘now that’s guts!'

When pressed about Bush's shortcomings as a leader, many people on Y!A say (paraphrased), "Yeah, well he's better than Clinton." Does that really make up for Bush's failings? Why don't people analyze his record objectively, successes and failures noted?

According to Wikipedia, it takes more energy to create a solar panel than that panel will create in its lifetime. Is this true? I can't think of any other reason why every rooftop in my home of the American Southwest wouldn't be covered with solar panels.

Im looking for a declawed cat, either a tabby, or a calico, preferably female, and either free, or for sale at a low price. It doesnt matter if at a adoption center, or at a private breeder, or even at a house, it really doesnt matter, and if they are cheap, declawed, cute, female, and have all of their shots up-to-date. Need to find out what happens if someone is stopped for driving your car without license or insurance?
A friend of mine took my car keys and drove my car without my knowledge. They got pulled over by the police and revealed they had no licence or insurance. They have been given 7 days to produce the valid documents which obviously they cannot do. They will get a fine/points but will this affect me? Will I get any penalty/points or is this purely their responsibility/problem? The police contacted me to ask whether the friend had stolen it, to which I said no. I said they'd taken it but that I'd left it on their driveway with my keys at their house as I'd had to rush out. Does this affect me negatively. Many thanks for the advice. (Only UK law please).

If I was speaking to a powerful Diety, who is meant to be in the Heavens, I would shout up to the sky.

Pointing your head and face down to it seems a bit weird. Especially seeing as it was/is thought "You know who" is down there.
