No not this year, not next year or the next. Dont get me wrong Im a big fan of the Chicago Cubs but realistically there are far more better teams in the NL like the Atlanta Braves, New York Mets, and the LA Dodgers. And even if they did make it to the World Series the AL is usually better and so one of the AL teams would be World Series Champion.

The Cubs have been good adequate to win it final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. It purely take one undesirable week for a team to get rid of themselves in the process the playoffs. tutor me one team that did no longer have a foul week final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. If Gregg would not make it, Marmol is waiting. yet Marmol is the excellent set-up guy interior the employer. they have an allstar catcher. a best infield. And Bradley and Soriano interior the outfield, they seem to be winners to me. they gained't choke this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. Carve that for the duration of stone :)

This question reminds me of holding up that black pool ball and asking questions................... it's about that effective too.
Anyway, I think the Chicago Cubs have a good shot at it this year. They have a lot of talent and a coach who knows how to make things happen. They are not that far behind Milwaukee and the Cardinals are floundering (I'm a Card fan).
I really think this could be their year....

i dont know about the world series, but they have a good shot at the playoffs. the NL is pretty weak this year, like almost every year these days. the cubbies are also getting hot.

Well anything is possible. The also are doing pretty good this year, i just believe that there is better teams in the NL this year, but there is next year!
