Why do they all come from south of the border?

2007-07-09 11:10:43 · 17 answers · asked by ☆Bombastic☆ 5 in Politics & Government Immigration

I'm asking because many say they have native claim to this land, that we stole it, and that they share as much claim as Native American Indians

* Edit - Not trying to be racist, either. Just curious as to why most of them believe they're native when they come from south of the Rio Grande.

Borreguini01 - "American Indians" also immigrated, do some research next time before you make yourself look uneducated.

Insults are unnecessary.

Mexico is a fully conquered nation as well - That means they killed "natives" of that land as well!

No matter what they claim, they're not the true native Americans, the first natives to settle here came across the land bridge from Asia, at least that's what is written in the history, and how can they claim to be Americans when at that time there was no such a place as America?
I never heard of any single indian tribe that spoke Spanish.

No even if they were native americans(most are mixed with spanish ancestry now anyway), they lived in mexico not here. There are many native americans ,such as the Navajo who still live in the southwest( the place they claim we stole, even though we didn't), so we never took any land away. When Mexico seceded the southwest to us, there were hardly any people living here. Anyway, and more to the point, Mexico fairly seceded the southwest to us. If they really wanted it they would have tried(as a nation through war) to get it back. The whole idea that this land is "theirs" is just a dumb excuse to try to explain why they are here illegally.

Huh? What's a fake native American? When the Europeans showed up to the Americas (North, Central, South) there were already people there. The difference between a Mexican and a Native is that Mexicans have Spanish lineage in addition to their indigenous ancestry. The native Americans in the US are indigenous to this region and since we are the United States of America (America for short) those people are native Americans. There are people in Mexico that are indigenous to Mexico. They are native Mexicans.

I am forty-forty five% Amerindian New World Mongoloid (the leisure White). I'm now not a US Indian although I am a Brazilian Native however I've certainly not been angry by way of mascots. In Brazil there's a football staff known as Guarani and there's an Indian for a mascot. I do not see it as offensive. I suppose that folks take matters like that the mistaken approach. What I am angry by way of are extra severe matters like the ones racist "scientists" claiming to have learned that Blacks and Indians have decrease IQs than different races, and so forth. That's wherein the truly risk is, now not with mascots.

American Indians are REAL Native Americans. Mexicans are people from Mexico. Hispanics are people with Spanish ancestry.

I'm an Enrolled member of a California tribe and i can say with history to back me up, we NEVER traded with the AZTECA or any points south. WHY? because of this lil thing called a Natural border, or DESERT. Try to cross that desert on foot.

That "mexica movement' is a bunch of crap. Just because some asshole stood on a rock and CLAIMED the land did not really make it his now did it?

SO in short NO they are NOT INDIANS.

Well, America stretches from above the Arctic Circle to below the Antarctic Circle, and is generally divided in North, Central and South America.

So, what border of America are they from south of? Or are you just talking about the United States?

Because if you are, then consider that many of the ancient tribal areas extended both north and south of the arbitrary lines that were drawn in the 1800s.

The are native americans of there own country but not of southern part of the US. That part was originally and should be returned to Apache, Navajo, etc. Then it was conquered by various countries (in historical order: Spain, Mexico and finally USA).

Not all hispanics are Mexicans.

When did Mexicans/Hispanics claim to be Native Americans?

2007-07-09 11:15:59 · answer #9 · answered by ken erestu 6 · 2 1

there are no real "native" americans. even the indians arent really native. native implies a species was born somewhere. indians (like whites, blacks, hispanics, and asians) migrated here. no race was ever born on this continent. every race that is currently on this continent migrated here at some point in history.
