The games are: Ace Combat 04, 05, and 0.
I heard that if you try to save the games, it might ruin the PS3 saving ability for newer games on the PS3, is this true? I dont want to take any risks right now, thanks in adance.

if it's a european ps3 they might not work (sony in it's infinite wisdom took out the ps2 chip and emulated it instead, so not all ps2 games work at present (though firmware uspdate are helping out))
either way, it wont hurt your ps3 to try. it'll tell you if it works or not.

As far as I know PS3 has backward compatibility with all PS2 games. Look on Sonys website.

i dont know where you heard such a thing but you can play and save any ps2 or ps game you want on the ps3

yeah it wont do anything to it. I have had a ps2 since they came out and the ps3 too. i have played both games on both consules. so it works fine.
