The people are nice. It seems that governments are always suspicious of each other, but the people are genuinely nice.

it's like that in Canada too. we are nice, and i don't think they divide us so much. i just stay away from politics...and religion

It's always been that way. Power corrupts and no one gives up power willingly. Check out the latest issue of the National Geographic Magazine for it's article on swarms: bee hives and ant colonies operate with extreme efficiency, but no one is in charge! The queen is only there to have babies. If only people were as simple-minded as ants.

governments are comprised of citizens, change the personnel via voting
i like government moreso than any other alternative
