does your decision to not eat meat have anything to do with your religious/spiritual beliefs?

fyi-mine do. i believe all living beings are connected and equally important and therefore i don't feel right eating them.

Two days before my Birthday she told me it was over between us. I had worked all night the day before and did not call her to check on her or go over to her place. I realize how much of a mistake I made and this has happened once or twice before when I never called her and fell off the earth. I have never hurt her or cheated on her and she is the love of my life. I made a big mistake and she said there is no way I will ever get her back. Is it best to stay away and hope one day when the baby comes she will forgive me and take me back? I want toi be with her and the baby and have a family. Since she did that I have been doing everything I can to correct my life and my problems. Maybe when she sees a better me it will make her want me back. I really love her so much and miss her badly.

and the day they chose to have it on, is Kids Floppy Hat day, where adolescent prepubecint t boys and girls, are invited to the ballpark for a free floppy hat. The Gay community will be there in numbers, and many people are going to protest this, I don't thing that any 'sexual' groups, should have been celebrated on a day, when minor children are attending..They don't have Italian day, Muslim Day, Religious days,..Any day special, and many of the macho guys who go to the game and drink beer, are gearing up tommorow. I personally, am not going to go, I don't want to participate, in young kids being exposed to a radical group of people, hugging, kissing, etc, in front of them..no more than I want to see anyone sucking face at the ball park..so what do you think? I am not being mean,. but this isn't right. I feel this is all about money for the Padres.

I recently welcomed a pomeranian puppy into my home and I rec'd papers with him that said he was pure breed. However, recently I have been told on seperate occasions that my dog is mixed with something. I have heard twice that he looks like a malamute. Those dogs are huge! How in the world could it of breed with a pomeranian? Any suggestions on Timmy's breed? I would love to serach so I know his character traits. I can not figure out how to post his picture. am a divorced lady and deeply in love with an unmarried Man 40 yrs of age (he is a Pilot) and we used to get on very well together and our relationship went on and lasted for almost 6 months. Until recently when we got into a heated argument when he called me to tell me that he wanted to introduce me to his friend and i asked him whether if it is a "she" or "he" and he told me that was a "she" and i asked him how he came to know her and if there was any connection/ relationship between the two of them and he completely denied telling me that they were just good friends whom they know of each other a long time back. In that case if just good friends he is welcome to bring her over to be introduced. I did invite her and my boyfriend for a cuppa of coffee in my apartment and i did entertain them both without my knowledge (being in the dark) after I came to find out from the lady that they were indeed starting a relationship when the lady tel me to ask me if she could send flowers to him on his birthday, and so i asked the friend of his what was their connection and she told me that she was his girlfriend and they were starting a relationship. I told the lady that he was my boyfriend and that both of us were in a deep relationship. The lady told me that he told her that I was married and that i was just an ordinary friend who he knew off which was myself. When i came to know about this "saga" and when i faced him he became very furious and he started to bad mouth me and calling me a "BEECH" which nobody has called me in my entire life. I have been very disappointed and shattered towards his behaviour and his dis-respect towards me. We did have a heated argument but i tried to keep myself cool as much can be because i am not used to be around people with such behaviour. I loved him very much indeed and we used to get on well together until this happened. We were already talking of seriousness relationship. Please advice me if it is worth keeping him or just say a "Good Bye' to him and move on....i am in a very difficult position and we have not spoken since than never even has he called to say that he was sorry for all this. Do i need to continue with him...again..???

I have a 200 Text a month plan with Cingular. I'm aware that sending text counts, but I'm confused about receiving text. Does it counts when you receive text OR does it only counts when you receive text AND open it? I'm cautious, so when I receive text, I don't open it but rather I read the title, which contains part of the message to see if it is important enough to open it.
