Experts have only been able to conjecture how the Egyptian's were able to build the pyramids. Has anyone asked this question. Are we sure the Egyptian's built them? Could it have been an advanced intelligence from another world that built them as markers so if a space traveler saw them from space they would know they were here?
The pyramids are one of the few m anmade things that can be seen from space.

the full term age is 37 weeks. babycetner says to go to hosptial if u have preterm labor signs before 37 weeks. i dont know if i should go or not. the only thing thats happend is intensifying braxton hicks contractions, and loss of part of the mucus plug. im trying to rest in bed as much as possible, but i know the hosptal does a thing with steroids if u are prematre and something to stop the labor. how do i know when the signs are serious enough to go to the ER over it?

I'm teaching a class on type conversions in Java, and I've run into something that I don't know myself. Here is a simple bit of code to show how type conversions are sometimes unreliable.

long l = 1000;
byte b = (byte) l;
System.out.println(b); // -24 (Unsure how Java arrives at this value)
System.out.println(l); // 1000

The variable "long l" is set to 1000. It is then converted to "byte b". "byte" can only hold values from -128 to 127. When I print variable "b", it prints a gibberish number of "-24".

How does Java arrive at "-24" when converting "1000" to fit into a "byte"? Is this value predictable?

The other day someone took something out of context and I got really upset. Thing is, it wasn't the Bible they were misquoting...it was a Harry Potter book. Yes, I'm one of those people, I dress the part and try to push the books on others. Although I'm hardly a religious fundamentalist, I came to the realization that I probably qualify as a "Harry Potter fundie."

Is there anything, religious or not, of which you'd be considered a fundie?

It's for a livingroom. The furniture is a sage green color and casual material. The carpet is a medium grey color. The curtains are choclate brown/cream, but can easily be changed if you'd like to make a suggestion. Also, everything is a solid, would a print help break it up? I want to keep a warm, casual, but put-together look. Thanks to every and anyone who takes the time to answer. You're opinion is greatly appreciated as I am challenged in this area!

Is this card any good/decent? Its the only card I could find that works with my 300W power supply, and no way am i upgrading that too. My current card is ATI Radeon Express 200 so i guess anything beats it. Also i found this one:
