Try OpenOffice, a free suite of Office-like progams, including a word processor (Write) that opens, enables you to work in, and can even save as, Word documents.

You can buy Office for Students and Teachers for about $125. Try Amazon and places like that.

you can probably find it for downloading via bittorrent. they usually have pretty much everything... the only thing youd need is a security code if the one downloaded doesnt work (that is if you even need it to begin with)
