There have been lots of experts who have investigated this. They have a pretty good idea how it was done. They have identified where the stone came from (a big hole, now filled with sand, right next to the pyramid), where the workers lived (a large village right next to the pyramid), and even how the workers were paid.

The Egyptian pyramids are most certainly man-made. Archaelogists have been able to ascertain how it was done and where the Egyptians got their materials. Keep in mind that they used slave labor to get the job done. Especially for the ancient world, this was a remarkable engineering feat. But just because it was remarkable does not mean that it was done by aliens. Anyway, it seems to me that aliens with the technology to traverse interstellar space wouldn't need some pyramids in Egypt to figure out where they were.

Why would an advanced civilization from another world build these big piles of stone on our planet? Pyramids seem to serve no useful purpose other than as huge tombstones for the pharaohs.
Any why use stone? A race intelligent enough to conquer space would surely be capable of using more advanced materials than that. No one has found any plastic or steel in the pyramids, for example.

What rock have you been hiding under to have not heard the kooks asking this question for decades?
Whether or not it was "Egyptians," the pyramids were most certainly built by humans and did not have anything to do with space travel.
Deal with it.
By the way, it is extremely difficult to see the pyramids from space. Nearly impossible, in fact.

Yes, it makes great material for science "entertainment", science fiction. It's really sad that you are so quick to write off some of the most resourceful, intelligent and industrious civilizations as being incapable of such handywork.
You underestimate the power of the religion of those times to accomplish precise and grandeous projects with engineering precision. But, all the tools and "engines" were developed, according to ancient historical records.
I suppose that as long as we have individuals who are habitual skeptics, for the sake of skepticism itself, who do not dig very deep into the background of what tweaks their curiosity, we will always have doubters and people who are willing to believe that man can't do a dam technological thing without "alien intervention".
Rupert Murdock, the originator of "tabloid techniques", and "YouTube", and all the other cynical media out there are drooling over the prospects of separating you from your money with the sale of their bogus information.

we are pretty sure we got a handle on who built the Egyptian Pryamids. We can also see the Great Wall of China from space and we know who built it also.

No, Aliens did not build the pyramids.
(Stargate wasn't a documentary.)
Now pry yourself away from the TV and head to the library.
