Before you answer please read all of this!

Can you get HIV through preforming oral sex on a person who has HIV or AIDS if you have absolutely no cuts in your mouth, esophogus, or stomach, no ulcers, no rotted teeth, simply put- NO wounds or anyway for seman/ vaginal secretions to enter your blood stream? Would the virus be killed once it enters your stomach and gets bombarded with stomach acid? Or could you still contract the virus through digestion?

This came up at a bar the other night and towards the end of the drunken debate we all realized that we just don't know.

Also, remember, this is completely hypothetical in that when you answer this question you need to pretend that there is absolutely no chance that the person has any wounds that would allow the virus to simply get into your blood.

I LOVE to sing. People say i have a beautiful voice! a(my mom, dad, friends...) The problem is im too shy to sing in front of people! The only people that have heard me sing is people that i know and people that i trust! I really want to break out of that bubble and learn to sing in front of a different audience! For about the past past week i've been feeling weird. Im happy during the day but when 5 or 6 o' clock roll around i go into a deep depression. I feel like cring, puking, and just going in a corner and not talk to anyone. I dont know what it is. Does anyone have a clue?

my sister in law has been telling me for months that her and her husband which is my husbands brother don't have the money to buy a house and that he is in a depression because of it...so i tell my husband of the things she said so that he can maybe make his brother manager of one of the businesses he owns before he makes a stranger because they aren't making the money that they need to move foward. Turns out she calls the day her husband goes into train for business and asks us "what is the light at the end of the tunnel"?? She was expecting him to be a business partner and my hubby already has one...i had to ask her exactly what he made for a living and our positon was less money...and by the way they are making a very good salary. I said why did you set me up to believe you had no money?? and she says no it is a life style i want...So now the brothers have not spoke because of this...is she a calculated girl or am i crazy?

Soooo...I'm worried because I bought this critter cutter thing and when I try clipping, I always make a little part of the nail go red. I feel so sorry for my rabbits, then I put the brown powder on them, but they are scared every time I take out the critter cutter. I did a survey, and found that 21 out of 29 polled are Christians. However, there seems to be an unusually large amount of Christian bashing on Yahoo answers, with little or no defense of the faith.

In my survey at least, (with yes or no answers) those who answered that they were Christians recieved an automatic "thumbs down" vote by the level 2 guys.

Am I just paranoid, and if not: why, If there are so many of us, is nobody speaking up?

Okay, so this is what I understand so far. An IRA is like a shoebox and my investments are the shoes. And the shoebox is what shelters me from the taxes. And there are penalties if I were to withdraw early before I retire. So this would mean it would be a long term investment, right?

If so.. can someone recommend a mutual fund or stock I can put my money into as a long term investment? Or should I just go with a money market savings? Any other suggestion inputs welcome.

So I'm a US Marine. I was just in the field doing training for 18 days. And during that time my wife was raped by one of her friend's friends. Now she doesn't want to be affectionate or have sex, or even barely touch me. I have been nothing but a great husband to her. What do I do to help her? She doesn't want anyone to know, and probably won't seek counseling. What can I do to ease the pain she's feeling, and how do I ease her back into having an affectionate relationship with me? Hopefully I can do it before August 27th, because I head to another base to train for 4 months, then I deploy to Iraq for 14 months.

I know that badly drawn boy sings most of the music in the movie, but there was one song that was played while like all the kids are filling up the theatre before the talent show. For some reason I don't think badly drawn boy sang it, but I wasn't sure. I heard it in cosi the other day, so its like a known artist and song.

I'm sorry, I just don't see the big deal with it. This lazy person at work spends all her time farting around on Myspace instead of actually working, and that is annoying. I will admit I go to myspace sites some, always band sites, but I still prefer the old-fashioned personal website of old, especially for the bands. I just don't see what the bid deal is! Anyone else with me? And again, not knocking anyone that loves myspace, I just don't get the hype.

Why do you guys think people get offended so easily in this section? Why do people resort to name-calling or offending others instead of respectfully stating their disagreements?

To me, it's just like a little kid throwing a hissy fit at Wal-Mart. When someone starts getting so riled up to the point where they feel it necessary to use bad language and personally attack other people...as far as I am concerned, that is when they have "lost" the argument, and it isn't worth it anymore.

I have my own thoughts as to why people overreact, but I wanted to hear some from you guys as well. Can we not discuss beliefs in a civil manner anymore?

Anyways, even if you don't answer, I hope you have a nice night and a great holiday tomorrow. Isn't it great to live in a country like America where we have the freedom to believe what we want, among many other wonderful freedoms?
