I don't think all Chat rooms are bad. I have one that I used to go into regularly, it was made for strickly Mom's and Dad's. Sure we got our occasional jerk that would try to mess with us. But it was mostly a room and all the same people went to all the time. I think, as with most things, you just have to be careful. Don't give out personal info. And if a child is on the internet I think all parnets should monitor them.

Be very careful, don't give out anything personal, full name, address, phone number. There are some very nice people who just want to talk, but it only takes one jerk to ruin it.
