I'll tell you what the Prime Minister of Japan has said, these are his words."We would have used the bomb on America if we had it at that time."Sad that they attack pearl harbor killing all those people, and trapping those men under the ocean. Still those men lay there, the submarine is the coffin, the ocean. We were not bothering anyone, they attacked us....Japan attacked us!! Americans are good people, many countries our jealous of us and want to destroy us.....Japan is not a victim, the America people were the victims. Japan intentionally attack us, we were not bothering anyone. As we were not bothering anyone on 9/11, these other countries should leave us alone. What about the innocent people at Pearl Harbor? they had no chance, they were trapped the Japanese were looking for a fight, just like you are right now.

Before crying for these psychopathic folks try reading what the Japanese did in the Pacific and in China.
Too bad we didn't finish the job instead of letting them off easy.
The bombs were used to save lives; and, they did.
People are screaming on here about how bad Americans are because our president does this or does that but don't you think the Japanese people supported the horrendous torture and murder committed by all of their soldiers.
Read a book why don't you, maybe a history book.

War disgraces all of humanity.
However, there were no 'innocent' Japanese during the second world war, it was a group effort as most wars are. Japanese society at that time was perhaps the most cohesive society anywhere in the world.
I believe that dropping any bomb is a bad thing but in that particular context, dropping atomic bombs actually saved both American lives AND Japanese lives because without that kind of extraordinary act the Japanese would have undoubtedly fought on until many more millions would have died.

They were no more victims than the millions of Chinese and others that were murdered by the Japanese military or those killed by other means like conventional bombing. It no doubt, contrary to propaganda, saved millions of Japanese lives.

Victims? The Japanese are victims now? Do you realize that they attacked us? Pearl Harbor? Ring a bell? If the Japanese people are victims, they are victims of their own leadership at the time.
