I am going to purchase a scanner so that I can save old family photos. However, I have searched everywhere and I cannot find one. I have looked at Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Target, Circuit City, and others. So, I am forced to buy one online.

Now to my question. What should I look for in a scanner? What makes a scanner more reliable than other scanners?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a scanner?
I want a USB scanner.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think the punishment is too harsh... Who gets jail time (40 days especially) for a traffic violation? ...that was rhetorical...

I find many Christians so addicted to god that they forget about the "real" world and their friends and family. They use anything they can to justify their addiction.

i have been playing css for a while now and i this morning whne i try to run the game, our of nowhere it says counter-strike source needs the latest direct x to run.
it was out of nowhwere
and now i cant play
i tried reinstalling direct x 9 but it say there was an internal error and that i need to check dxerror log or sumtin. well i dont know what to do and im desperete to play. please help me out because i want to play.

i sprained my ankle about 3 weeks ago playing bball. it was pretty bad swelling, but went away after about a week. also took me about 2 weeks to walk around normally (i was able to hobble after about 10 min), but there is still a little swelling in the ankle. also, i have pain on the top of my ankle when i try running (sharp pain) (it feels like a tendon or something) and a duller pain if i press the side of my ankle bone. if i ice it the pain goes away for a bit. any clue on the best treatment for my ankle?? thanks.... oh and i didn't RICE cuz i've never had an ankle sprain before and didn't realize it was this bad. now i rice though.

so its basically a table with a glass top and a projector (monitor) and 2 infrared cameres (mouse keyboard) to triangulate and track your hand movements.
It seems to all be plugged into a reg PC.

How much do you think it will cost when it hits the shelves at the beginning of next year?

SCARY thought: it uses cameras to be able to react to your hand movements. does that mean "big brother" can watch you?

My husband and I prefer to have a basic, clean, plain home, while my mother-in-law prefers to have knick knacks on every available surface. Every time we visit her home, we feel as though the rooms have closed in, because of the addition of more and more clutter. I am wanting to get a reduction. I have been having lots of shoulder pain, back pain and its hard for me to exersize. I have complained about it to a few doctors and they documented it for me. I have had MRIs done on my back and I've had a few shots in my back for the pain but those made me break out. Anyway my Doctor told me he thinks it would be a good idea and gave me a name of a plastic surgen to call. Which I will do tomrrow. I have GHP and my doctor says if we documant it really well the insurance will help pay for one. Has anyone ever had one done if so was it resently. Did your health insurance help pay for it? If so did You have GHP or does anyone know on average what persentage the insurance will pay for?

Sunday while I was in church I went outside to call my brother, then I entered the building and started to talk with the missionaries and we called my bother again, right after our talk was done I was going to the class again and this guy came from the room accross and started to flirt with me, he belongs to the english ward that is in the same building with the spanish ward I attend. He seems to be in his middle or late 40's and I'm 18 y/o and 6 months old. He was asking me for my phone number and having my celphone in my hands I told him that I didn't have any number, he insisted and I started to act cold to him and he kind of stopped insisting and wrote his phone number and gave it to me. He said that there were few "nice LDS ladies like me" but I barely talk to him, I don't like him and I feel pretty uncomfortable with all this. I am in the process of growing out my hair and in the back it is just barely touching my neck. I would like a protective hairstyle for this length and I'm at a loss for a style.
