The fact is, wherever there is something that is FOR GOD and OF GOD .. Satan will attack it.. try to counterfeit it or discredit it.
I agree with you in your statement.. the more Satan opposes the church that Christ said He will build and the gates of Hades shall not overcome .. The stronger it gets

Reminds me of something I read in the " foxxes book of martyrs " and seen in the Church in Smyrna in the epistles in Revelation where Satan attacked the church . and if you killed one.. Two more people were converted .. It was a tactic Satan used in church history and it still failed to diminish the church and Christianity... but the truth is the truth and Christ and His Word to us will stand eternally...

Christianity has again become a perverse political player, and who's ignorance and denial reign freely.

Historically, when christianity gets a hold over the state, bloodshed always follows, usually from the innocent.

The bible and christianity may be strong in the USA, but there is whole other world outside of the USA which thinks the christian power base are just dangerous fruitcakes.

Your insular and narrow minded persepctive will always deny you access to the real world, and your claims only confirm the rest of the worlds opinion about you and your fruitcake fundamentalist brethren.

It is people like YOU who are making the USA unpopular, and your religious agendas are costing thousands of innocent lives.
You are an ignorant bigot, and your faith can only self destruct..

U really think its getting stronger?? There have been record number of abuse cases against catholic priests in the past few years, and last year the amount of churches that had to be closed down because of poor participation , was all time high. Even the Vatican admits that there R financial and moral dilemmas facing Christianity. Its 2007, and in my opinion all religions need a little face lift to keep up with the world that has changed so radically since biblical times.

that is a hilarious question wazzana.

Yahoo answers is based almost primarily in the United States. I don't understand why you find it a noteable point that people attack christianity more on this site. Of course they do. lol

i don't see how u can say that christianity is "stronger" than ever.
In what terms?
For most of history, up until the last 50 years, you would face severe retribution from society if you were a philoshical atheist.
Your post is just a jingoistic yelp.
skeptics are earnest people who sincerely love people and the question religion because they feel that it is the right thing to do. And you sit there and respond to them with christian battle slogans. puh-leeze.

Ya....the Bible is getting stronger than ever. It is so strong that it changed me from a Hindu to a Christian.

Someone said that Muslims get accused of being terrorists...bla bla... Is it only Christians saying that? Think again.. LMAO.

Ok, the real reason isn't because of what you believe or not, that has nothing to do with it. It's because it's so EASY to get a rise out of the average zealot, whether Christian, Jew, Muslim, whatever. It's not about having an intelligent debate, it's about gaining entertainment from the reactions of what I term "religious enthusiasts".

Hate to contradict your statement, but christianity has been on a downward spiral for the last 160 years, as people are not as gullable about the ancient past as they used to be. Ever since Egyptian heiroglyphics were disciphered in 1823, even amongst the christian religions there have been many "reformations" and many sects of christian faith created, or haven't you studied your "faith." Judaism, once thought to be the oldest known faith on earth, has been found out to be nothing more than a bunch of inferior doctrines based on the plageristic practices of the hebrews of principles which dated back to the beginning of the EGYPTIAN empire. Even much of what was written to be "christianity" can be linked to ancient principles of Egypt's faith, NOT the Jewish one and MANY, including myself, are not deceived by MAN MADE "RELIGIONS........" I am a priest of Amen in Yezua/Yeshua. Of a faith many call "Theban christian," which I prefer to call of the Lord of Creation as WRITTEN in the sacred words of Egypt over 4500 years ago...........

Yeah, it sure does make me think. It makes me think that more and more people are wussing out and relying on a ficticious being to go to an eternally pleasant place called heaven, and to avoid an enternally suffering in hell. Sounds like the ultimate bribe to me. Oh, how kind God is.

Are you saying that christianity is based on hatred so the more we hate the closer we move towards becoming a christian? Kinda like the dark side of the force in starwars?

Thanks. You've given me one really good reason to open my heart to forgivness.
