Well..... that's the beauty of the world. There are all kinds of people all made for all kinds of different things. No where does it say we all have to do the same things and be the same way. :)

But I will admit that at your age..... gosh, even older..... I seriously couldn't imagine how I would ever be cut out for being a parent. (UNlike you) I was very selfish with my time. I was very spontaneous and when I decided I wanted to do something...... I went. I just got up and went. The thought of being tied down to ANYTHING just was not something I considered. Then my boyfriend bought me a dog for my birthday. Oh it was precious!! But man....... did that dog change my lifestyle. I had to be home at a certain time to walk it. I couldn't just up and leave and go somewhere. I had to think about the dog. I couldn't just go to bed at night...... had to think about the dog. I couldn't just sleep in late. Had to think about the dog. I seriously think this was my boyfriend's way of helping me find and take a bit more responsibility in my life. Ironically........ he eventually broke up with me because he said I started becoming more of a home body. ROFL. I always found that hilarious.

But I have to say....... I'm one of those people that should have had 10 kids!! lol (No........ I only have two besides you lol) But I love kids..... I relate to them..... and parenting is just...... so natural and easy. The answers are just there. I don't know if teaching made me a better parent, or if parenting made me a better teacher. But regardless........ I think I've done ok. Hmmmmmm....... on second thought....... maybe it was the dog. *wink*

Sometimes I think I shouldn't ever had any children because I am pretty selfish with my time. All I have to say is, it's a good thing my twin daughters are mine because they say blood runs thicker than water!!!!! I can't say I wouldn't do it again because they really are the love of my life but other peoples children drive me nuts!!!!!

No though I never had kids
I wish I had when I was younger I fear I am too old now.
They require a lot of energy and I am not getting any younger.
I think I would have been a good father

YES! I put kids in the same category as snakes. It's too bad that they're caused by something that's so much fun to do.

Sometimes I fail miserably as a parent. I beat myself with the guilt stick daily.
