We missed with Ross, but maybe Mike can make a real run! A 3rd party is what is really needed in American Politics. Let the house be democratic, the Senate be Rebublican and the President be an independent. It is a very bright aspect and with his platform we could do allot worse than President Micheal Bloomberg!

Agnostic: Someone who considers that there is no evidence for the existence of God, but also no evidence for its non existence. This is a neutral position.
Atheist: Someone who is in denial of the existence of God. This is not a neutral position.

This is the same question as in http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070618153556AA9ianm
but better formulated, I hope.

It is my personal experience that many people claim to follow the valid principle behind agnosticism, which is that we should only believe what is supported by evidence, but in fact have the atheistic position, which is not supported by evidence and is actually a belief system..

It is as if there is a war with those who says God exists on one side and those who say He does not exist on the other side. Very few remain neutral.. Those who have not experienced or comprehended evidences of God, tend to move on the denial side instead of just remaining neutral. Why is it so hard to remain neutral?

Just recently, my best friend Dennis. began to date sombody I thought of as a great friend. Now that him and the girl (Maria) are dating, I feel more strongly for Maria. I didn't want to hurt either of them, so I tried to feel happy for them, and get over her, but I can't stop thinking about her, I can't forget her. She's still my friend, but I wanted more. What do I do?

Just find it interesting that while Hollywood has a very big reputation for being liberal and there are always liberal actors being mentioned as candidates, it always for some reason seems to be the conservative actors/performers who actually run.
Regan, Arnold, Sonny Bono, possibly Thompson, even the guy from Dukes of Hazard, cooter, ran and Gopher from Love boat, all, I think, as Republicans.

Not really a question but just something I've always found interesting and don't really know why it happens that way.

My understanding of Revelation is that as the 'end days' approach, it will become scientifically obvious that God exists, and that the Christian Bible is correct in its predictions. I'm talking about the seas turning red, the sky going black etc, which I assume will not be explainable with science.

Surely at this point, all the athiests like myself with see this as positive proof that God and Jesus are real - and therefore that have a choice between Satan and Jesus. Assuming we are not crazy, and decide convert to Christianity, will we be saved from hell - or is there some sort of cut of date by which you must convert in order to be saved?

Sorry if sounds like a silly question, but really I am wondering if it is possible to see proof with your own eyes of Gods existance and still be able to choose to convert - or whether by the time you see the proof it is too late?

I brought my boat in last week for an estimate. I signed a work order and it lists all kinds of things like total parts and total labor and other charges etc. All say 0.00. I signed this that I agreed to no charges. I got a call today saying he wants $210.00 for the estimate. I went and tried to get my boat and he says he wants $210.00 cash or he won't give me my boat back. This is in Ingleside, Illinois. I'm filing a claim with Illinois Atty. General. but what would you do? I know if I give him $210.00 cash then he'll make me sign something saying I approved or he'll later say that he never got the cash and probably won't give me a receipt for it. I'm also thinking that if I don't pick it up and pay that he'll end up charging me a storage fee. I'm totally between a rock and a hard place and soooo tired of being taken because they know it would cost too much for a lawyer and so most people just pay. Please help.

I'm new to the world of stamping and scrapbooking, and I want to try my hand at embossing. I bought a heat tool and some powders on eBay, but I don't know what kind of ink I should use. I have read online that "resist ink" is good to use because it takes longer to dry and is little easier to use with embossing powders. I also read that clear ink pads work when using colored powders, or colored ink pads work when using clear powders. Any advice? I would really appreciate it if someone can steer me in the right direction. Thanks.

I am doing a one week cheerleading camp which I have never done before, and I'm really really sore when I come home, even though we cooled down and stretched out to get rid of the soreness before we left camp. We do cheers, motions, jumps, and stunting with only 3 five-minute breaks for 4 hours, and we're all really really sore, even after warming up and stretching out for 30 minutes. It's hard for us to walk and it's affecting my toe touches and herkies. Why am I still sore? Is there anything I can do to decrease my soreness before tomorrow so that I can perform full out and get my backhandspring down before camp is over?

BTW, there's 3 days left of camp.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, I have posted this in Health and Fitness but I thought I might get more answers in this area.

Some confusing in the last one, i am FOR tattoos. Relgion says no marks or cuts FOR THE DEAD. also says, no mirrors or piercings. No interracial marriage. No pork. You may not wear a garment made of two different fabrics. And, my fave, if a man is troubled GIVE HIM A STRONG DRINK!!!
But, so why are tattoos, body piercings and body modifacations so frowned upon?

What, specifically, is the Farthes south the picts made it into Britain? Anyone know? I know that they INVADED, I know that the Saxons who arrived in the South East Fought battles with the picts at least twice before turning on their British Employers which would IMPLY that the battles could not have been too far north. AND I know that the picts "joined forces" with the saxons when the saxons finally turned hostile to the romano-brits. This is all the Info I can find in my copies of Bede and the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle. Its not very definitive and every map I've ever seen shows the picts isolated WAY up north. Does anyone know of any specific references to places in the central or southern part of the Island they may have fought, or any names of kingdoms or rulers they battles with as opposed to Bede's and Gildas' uselessly simplified "the picts attacked BRITAIN from the north"?
