Just recently, my best friend Dennis. began to date sombody I thought of as a great friend. Now that him and the girl (Maria) are dating, I feel more strongly for Maria. I didn't want to hurt either of them, so I tried to feel happy for them, and get over her, but I can't stop thinking about her, I can't forget her. She's still my friend, but I wanted more. What do I do?

By the way, school is out for me, and I'm going to Jr. High next year.

why is it that regrets always come a tad late? why is it that people started having a tendency to make a move once the apple of their eye becomes the apple of another person's eye? whatever you do will have consequences. if you decide to tell maria, she could either reciprocate or she'll be pissed off at you esp. if she has been giving you signals in the past and you simply decided to ignore such signals. she could tell dennis in the process and you risk loosing your best friend. but if you keep mum about this, you will be the one who will suffer in silence. no one wants to suffer in silence and any emotion bottled up has a tendency to explode at some point. why dont you really think this over and ask yourself if it's really love you feel for her or if it's just a passing infatuation. if love is strong, then you have to tell her. dont wait till it's too late. whatever happens after that, do what your instinct tells you and face the music.

You can't un-miss a missed opportunity just like you can't un-ring a bell, but you can be more attentive to things as they present themselves in the future. Just sit on your feelings for this girl for now, and busy yourself seeing other people. She's seeing another guy, but things can change rapidly from one day to the next. Don't sit around waiting for that potential occurrence though; it may never happen and you may miss the next golden opportunity that hits your path. What you're looking at determines what you see. Good luck.

Back off. Back way off. Don'thang around them so much. After a couple of weeks see if you still feel that way about her. If you do, you'll have to start figuring out if your friend or Maria is most important to you because I don't think you'll have both.

You cant really do anything except be nice to her and flirt with her in a friendly way. Just be careful and dont betray your friend so dont spend too much time with the two of them together

aww..thats so cute. you should definitely let them live their lives and just wait your turn. thats what i would do. however, if Dennis is your best friend...you cant really do anything about it, unless ur cool with dating each others ex's.

If you really like your friends, then you would want for them what you want for your self. Look deep inside and you'll get your answer.
