Sorry in advance to anyone who likes the Ford Taurus...
I had a 1995 Ford Taurus. What a mistake that was! It was the worst car I ever had. My brother had a 1990 Taurus, and when he was bringing it home the transmission blew! I spent $15,000 in my Taurus in repairs, and no I don't abuse my cars. Never buy one! You would be wasting your money.

Overall they were/are a very good car. I still see them being driven out on the road, so they must be long lasting, reliable cars.
I own a 2000 Taurus, it's never given me issues. I love the car and believe it or not it gets about 380 miles to a tank of gas...not bad!

Ford Taurus' have never been good cars. Ford doesn't put good transmissions into their cars.

I think it was. All the Taurus' were good. Nothing really special, but just good dependable transportation. IMHO
