How do you get Slim on Super Paper Mario (Wii)?

I am in 2-3 and cannot find where to get Slim so that I can break into the vault to get the rubees!!!

you have to get past a sertain level and it will tell you.... you press A to get to the level you use your pixle in the hidden room to find a hidden door there is an old man and tou have to get 10000 coins and he will tell you
