We had a lease agreement with an apartment complex for 1 year, we fulfilled our lease agreement and signed a new lease agreement for the up-coming year,unfortunatly we had to break it 3 months & 11 days early as we purchased our first home. We handed our Apt. Manager our 30 day written notice they appeard to have no problems with this but did in fact tell us we'd have to pay close to 3000.00 in fees for breaking our lease...but also said "don't worry about it we'll work something out" a good 3 months went by and we heard nothing from anyone, We now have been getting calls from an aggressive collection agency wanting to recorver that $3000.00. Any suggestions or advice. We do feel we owe for the 3 months & 11 days we left early but they are seeking a thousand or so more $ than what our rent even would equal up to in 3 months time,adding consessions/breaking the lease fees etc,they say they will take us to court/garnish wages and put a lean on our house. HELP!!!

So my MOH stepped down as she was constantly upsetting me not showing up to things and really not being there. Her reason for not coming to my Stagette is because, (her and her BF broke up 2 months ago. But they also broke up before that 4 years ago for 3 months and she dated another guy, and is already interested in another. She is not going to her ex BF's brother's wedding which is the same day as the Stagette ( she feels as though she should be there), instead she is having a day of mourning she says and felt it would be to hard to be there and show me her support. Am I out of line to be upset?

The sun in size is enormous. Like placing a penny =the Earth Against a 9ft diameter disk the =Sun. yet our moon is one 6th the size of the earth. The moon fits perfectly over the suns perimiter during a solar eclipse. isnt this just amazing.?Synchronicity at its best. The moon is just in the perfect orbit for this to occur. The hand of God or just pure coincidence.

2 people stand on 2.0m platform, one on each end. Platform floats parallel to the ground on air, like hovercraft. One person throws 6.0kg ball to the other, who catches it. The ball travels nearly horizontally. Excluding the ball, the total mass of the platform and people is 118kg. Because of the throw, this 199kg mass recoils. How far does it move before coming to rest again?

*I know this question has something to do with the conservation of momentum but I just don't get how it can be solved without knowing the velocities of any member of the system. Also, if you can show your work in solving this question, that would be great. Thanks a lot!

Over the last 2 months, I've talked/dated 4 different gals to some extent. Some we went out on several dates, talked on the phone a few times, or talked to me in email for weeks.

All of them have disappeared in the night to never be seen or heard from again. I'm not abusive or annoying, and most of the time things have gone really well. They just disappear for what I can say is no reason at all.

Obviously they didn't have much interest in me, and thats fine. However, it almost seems they came to that conclusion even before talking to me at all, but talked to me just for the fun of it a few times, only to disappear. Can anybody give me any insight on why women do this?

I am 14, I wieght 118 and I'm 5' 4"
and I'm a vegetarian.

I want to lose 8 -10 lbs or maybe less

650 calories a day
no candy, soda,or fried food
basically i only want to eat salad, vege burgers, fruit.

I swim, run and play tennis ALOT!! and I also horseback ride 5 days a week.

How much will i lose if i do this for 2 weeks??

I had a job interview on the 30th of May, I sent a thank you letter after that. I called on the 6th to check on my status, she told me they were still making decisions, but had a great interview with me, she also told me that she was thank ful for the thank you letter I wrote to her, she told me she would contact me soon once the decisions are made.
It is now the 15th and i havent heard from her, should i call or wait.
Dont get me wrong iam also looking for other jobs but i really want this one.
