Ha ha ha ha! oh my o my,
Anyone who answers this as YES is seriously flawed.
This government has deliberately manipulated the media to create a reason for taxing rubbish. There is NOTHING we can do to save the planet with countries like China and America kicking out the Carbon they kick out!
This is a reason for tax and I will not subscribe to this SPIN!
Lets take the berk who said YES he is evil! I bet he goes home and switches on his three pound fifty pence Tesco Kettle to boil up a cuppa, smugly sitting back and smiling cause his post has had some sort of effect on another person.
His kettle, manufactured in CHINA and designed to break in 12 months is fueling more global warming than anything else. He could of cause go out and buy a metal one that has the ability to have the eliment changed and probably would last him a lifetime but he's not thinking about the damage to the environment when he bought it, ohhhh no he was thinking about how much money he is saving.
HYPOCRISY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Throwing away packaging starts at the Supermarket!
Throwing away anything else is within our powers but won't make an apeth of difference if Mr Knowitall is still buying his cheep products from TESCO!!!!!!!!!!
your turn!

People do the best they can, given where they are in their life. If you're comfortable with your life & how you live it, great, and it doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks about you. It seems curious that you asked such a question.
Since you asked it, however, here's my answer: Evil man? No. Foolish and/or immature boy? Yes. Seeing someone litter is like seeing a baby with a dirty diaper - the baby doesn't know any better, or have the ability to take care of it. And hopefully, the baby will grow up & learn how to take care of it's messes....
If you really are living your life as your question suggests, good luck - the info's out there if you want to learn to live differently.

Not necessarily evil persay just wasteful! Evil is a very harsh word. You may not win a popularity contest with the avid recyclers of the world, or those that are on the "green" kick right now, but I would not call you EVIL! Evil is Mike Myers and the like.

I dont think it does. Though I dont believe in the concept of evil, its just something used over the years by religious zealots to justify their own codes of corruption.
If you waste resources then thats your choice. Do what thy wilt shall be the whole of the law, etc.
I personally know that the recycling that I do (and I do a lot) makes absolutely no difference in the grand scheme of things. But I cling to the hope that if I do it then it encourages others to do it, and that could possibly maybe one day hopefully have a positive knock on effect.
Most recycling efforts are ultimately pointless. Most local council recycling efforts are sold off to private contractors who ship it off to the third world and china and ruin peoples lives over there - so we are actually causing problems by trying to solve them.
To me, an idea of Evil is to be representative of a large group of people and to make decisions and actions that lead to sadness and misery. So no, I dont think you are evil for your inaction.

I don't think it makes you evil. Just irresponsible. The world is a mess and whether you believe in global warming or not, its still us ruining our environment. It really only takes a few moments to save this stuff and the benefits far outweigh the inconvenience. Why be a part of the destruction? It would be better to leave our children a world that they can be happy in instead of what's coming their way.

I wouldn't say it makes you evil , but it does make you a very selfish and thoughtless person. If you are an adult with children are these the sort of things you would want to teach your children? Every choice we make about the things we do either has a good affect or bad affect on someone or many. You obviously know right from wrong so if you are not in a position to help yourself and others please don't harm yourself and others by doing thoughtless and selfish things. I hope this helps. xkacyx

Of course not, I reserve evil for people who drive Aztecs and Hummers. But I might classify you as a:iresponsible or b:uninformed like most everyday folks seem to be. Day-to-day environmental choices aren't part of the 9-5 and they just don't 'see' the same things some of us do.

No, evil would be if you were a child molester or a murderer. It WOULD make you wasteful and to counteract that, we should raise prices on utilities and provide monetary incentives to recycle. So that if you continue to be wasteful, you'd either have to be rich and don't care or you'd be poor and forced to care.

It is not for me to say if you are evil or not, that is in God's realm. But, think about this: What if everyone else did what you do - it would be a slap in the face of the Creator. Just be nice!!!
