What happened to music? Why cant people write songs like they did from about 1950-1985. What happened to the music. It is nearly when rap took mainstream it ruined the whole industry and rock lost its way maybe? Even country music has changed. Punk rock took hold and now is emo. What happened. I am a musician and shurn out songs just like the ones from the 60s and 70s and when i play country i play it just like classics like "Old dogs & children & watermelon wine" by Tom T Hall in 1973. Why has music died along with the spirit of the 60s and 70s.

Also whenever i play "newaged" people my music they are gobsmacked over what they think is a new style of music, it is ridiculous. Get these pretty faced idiots off the air and get the real music back on. Does anyone know what happened to music, id sure like to know.!

I dunno about you but we actually care about Religion and spirituality... not a lack of it.

Some of you say you like to come here and "Discuss" which is ENTIRELY impossible considering it's only answering questions...

So answer me this... How do most of you answer our Questions when we talk about God? I'd imagine you would all answer the same way (doens't exist: very original btw)... and you have... everytime i've ever posted a question.

And when Christians ask questions about faith concerning relationships or what not... more personnal ish stuff... you all insult and belittle us(whereas Christians actually help).

tellin us God doens't exist and providing facts and proof of evolution is all meaningless and whatever scientific garbage you spill.

It's actually almost impossible for you to give any of our questions a real answer or anything that actually matters to us... and i'm not generalizing, that's a fact.

i have a 7300gs 256 crap card in a pci express 4x (my mobo has the 16x slot, but the clock is locked at 4x)

im getting a new mobo very soon and am wondering what one to get.

i have a pentium d oc'd to 3.8 LGA775
2gb of ddr 533 ram
1 sata dvd, 3 sata hdd, 1 ide dvd and 2 ide hdd
i have a 20/24 pin and 4/8 pin on my power supply
need at least 3 pci slots, i want 2 pciex for sli also.

about the videocard. the 8k's look promising, but the 2k's from ati look like their gonna kick the crap outta the 8k's

should i wait, or get a new vid card now, and which one should i get. im not stressing the vid carde right now cause i can play oblivion on medium settings fine, and when i get the full 16x experience i can up the settings.

Ok. me and my mom have never really gotten along. but about a week ago we started getting along really good. but then my aunt,uncle, and two cousins Josh and john came down from alaska to visit for a week. this past week has been a living hell. it seems like my mom thinks my cousin john is her son. she treats him like her own son and then she treats me like some random person off the street! like say he's watching tv. i walk past it quickly,she screams at me like i just slapped him or somthing! then see if he throws my $200.00 i-pod into the pool, she yells at me and asks if he's ok!!! omg i have no idea what i should do! i've tried everything but my mother just dosn't seem to like me. and lately the though of running away has been passing through my mind. How come people say that an alternative high school is for bad students when it is a choice that students make? It's not a special school so schools can't force students to go to an alternative high school. I live near Great Neck and we have an alternative high school in our district called Great Neck Village School. Many students comment that only "druggie" people go there. And only people who get into trouble in the traditional schools go there. I'm sick and tired of hearing people say this. so please can you tell these people that alternative high schools are for students who want to be there, hence the word "alternative"?

I've got an 89 ford probe automatic that is currently getting an average of 33mpg, as shown by the electronic fuel indicator, and it's been confirmed by me through gas receipt and odometer calculations. I have headers, k&n panel filter, and have been thorough on the maintenance. Tires are new and properly inflated.

I drive more responsibly than anyone out there. I start out slow at lights, anticipate stops, don't go over 65mph on the interstate, etc.

So i have all that down, I have excess weight removed from the car, Now i'm just wondering how much further some people take it.....


I could remove all the seats except the driver seat, not have a spare tire in the back, what other ways have you guys increased fuel economy?

*** I don't use air cond. ever, and i drive with windows up year round to decrease drag from the wind.
