I've been to the doctors the blood test show nothing is wrong, I've had an Xray , no arthritus.I wrap my feet in cold wet towels at night to help with the throbbing. I've been taking paracetomols and ibuprofen every evening, I've moisturised with peppermint oil.I've rested and raise my feet.When I get up in the morning I hobble around

Have they checked out RLS? Restless Leg syndrome. It sounds a lot like what you're describing. It should be easy to find out info. Right here in the health section of yahoo. Its usually in the leg itself, but does sometimes affect the feet.

I also get very painful feet. Have you been tested for osteoporosis? It wouldn't show on a normal x-ray. My sore feet are caused by this.

Let me add to the others suggestions....any recent damage or injury to your feet? Did your doctor exclude nerve damage?
