I'm just wondering out of curiosity, and since the brain can command the body, couldn't it command it to shrink? So is it possible to shrink your body from thought? By believing that your one inch tall, without any doubts, could your body suddenly shrink? I know alot of people are just going to say "NO", but I'm just curious.

Some of us went into the marriage with the best intentions. However, it didn't work out and we may have gotten an unfavorable outcome from the court system.

I personally am a divorcee. My ex committed adultery multiple times and one of those times was with a close family member. I had to move with my mother thereafter to pay for the house we were living in and my child support for my biological daughter. Shortly after this, I got a vascectomy because I never wanted a child I fathered to be used against me in court. I myself am financially crippled due to it. Due to lack of finances, I have no love life.

I already know many on this forum will say stop whining and that it's the price of a bad choice. I just had to ask the question, though if you had a son: How you women would deal with situation? What if he asked to live with you in his economic hardship?

I will be getting my Master's in August 2008, and am now looking around at doctoral programs. I'm kind of worried because I don't have much research experience. Aside from a small research project in my undergrad years (hardly anything even worth mentioning) and the thesis that I just started, I won't really be bringing much to the table in terms of experience. My advisor simply said "get some research experience." With a full load and a thesis in the works, I'm not really sure how to do that before graduation! Will a completed thesis be enough to be considered (and hopefully accepted) into a PhD (or possible PsyD) program? I appreciate your help!

Anyone can believe how they want to ,But let me tell you that religion is the opposite of Jesus.Jesus is gentle.Religion is harsh.Religion is who man thinks God is and that is just not who He is.Jesus is love and kind and compassionate.The religious top dogs crucified Jesus.Even though He did it willingly.Thay hated Jesus.Many churches jam their beliefs on people and all that does is make people feel bad.When I get through having church with my prayer partner I am high on life and Jesus.That is because we glorify Jesus and let the Holy Spirit do His work through us.I used to leave church feeling worse than when I went in.This is not all churches but the majority.This is why people turn to all kinds of crazy religions.and many just do not believe.Jesus is the answer not religion.This is the truth.and it is here for all to see all over the world.Jesus did not act like the religious leaders when He was on earth.There is your proof.Plain and simple.

I know it's not fair and accurate for someone to judge a person whether he/she a virgin just by his/her behaviour,mannerism, hobbies etc, but is it possible for someone to spot if you are a virgin?

P.S: I already know being shy when sex is mentioned is one of the signs... (though this isn't accurate)
And please don't tell about about physical signs, I'm not asking for that.

If a server is only making 3-4 dollars an hour, and he takes my order, takes it to the kitchen, brings my order to me and cashes me out, is it standard to tip?

I always feel like maybe I am supposed to give at least something and that maybe the server is expecting me to.

Chavez is simply trying to level the living standards of the people in Venezuela. Nothing he is doing now hasn't been done in the past. I consider Chavez to be conducting a great experiment and I wonder how the world will deal with him and his example. Specifically, can Chavez use his power to keep the middle classes happy while improving that the conditions of the poor ?
