The Lord's table is where, I guess, the Lord's supper was served. I cannot seriously fathom what the difference is between the two.

There is a difference between the two. The phrase the "Lord's table" appears to be symbolic of something quite different from the supper. Looking at Scripture particularly Luke 22:30 it appears to refer to a heavenly gathering and activity in which believers will participate, with a clear connection with earthly activity (Luke 14:15-24).

If I got this correct: the Lords table is the place we will all be when Jesus comes back for us.. we will gather at His table in Heaven... the Lord's supper is the communion that is given in most churches, as a symbolic way of accepting what Jesus did for us... the grape juice signifies his blood he shed for us, and the 'bread' signifies his body which was crucified for us.... to save us!
