I am coming with my wife in December; I need places for entertainments (for example six flags)

Do you have kids? If not, why would you want to go to Magic Mountain, unless you're a thrill ride nut? It's more of a young person's place.

Stick with the original: Disneyland. While behind the Orange Curtain, consider Knott's Berry Farm (I think that what previous poster means by "Boone's Farm.") Maybe Medieval Times or even the Crystal Cathedral.

Then pop up the 5 to Hollywood, Universal Studios, Citywalk and surrounds. Consider Griffith Park. The newly refurbished Observatory requires reservations in advance, so plan ahead.

Then spend a day at the beach, Venice during the day/Santa Monica at night. You can rent bicycles and get some exercise out of the experience.

If time allows, consider either Getty Museum. The also newly refurbished one in Malibu requires advance reservations.

Add to your potential "honey-do" list: Huntington Library/Gardens, take in a taping of a TV show, the LA Brea Tar Pits, any of our fine museums and historical sites.

If it's close to Xmas, there are many gaudy displays of lights around town.

I'm exhausting just thinking about it. You'll need a vacation when you get home just to recuperate. And thank you for spending your tourist dollars in LA.
