Christian:

No. I mean someone does not need a religion to make them a good person. Although that tends to be the popular belief. I am better because of religion, but i am still happy and it wouldn't change my lifestyle much except that i wouldn't pray. I would still be the same me, because I was saved and determined to change my life around and i see that it was best, so there is no doubt in my mind that i would stay the same.

Atheists~ It is not nice to talk like that about the one who gave you life.

If the god is "Christian" then what of the other religions' gods? If I find out about the Christian god then this is a mental action. God cannot be known through your mind. When I die, all that I have ever "found out" will be lost, and regardless of whether I am reborn or not, I would have to look for the Christian god again and again. If I go to god after I die, in heaven, why does this lifestyle matter?

Neither christian nor atheist, here... but it's an open forum so I can answer too.

I don't worship the monotheistic christian god on moral grounds. He is a megalomaniacal sociopath that condones genocide, murder, the slaughter of innocent animals, and his own child.. If I can be more moral than that god, he isn't worthy of me.

Yes.

Initially I would probably be astounded that God has worse ethics than I do.

It probably would not take too long to get into the routine of subservience and ego-stroking that the Christian God demands.

Well if the Christian God was real I doubt I would accept him and yeah I guess I would change my life and become a satanist.

Christian God is a butt wipe.

By the same token, if the sky was bright green at sunset due to the fact that the moon was comprised of nuclear day-glow plastic, would you wear special sunglasses in the evening to protect your eyes from the bright green sky?

I would certainly consider it...

I guess I would start grovelling a lot. I would learn to hate others better, and I would worry more about getting into heaven than actually improving this world.
