I am faced with the inability to afford car insurance. Should I continue driving then? Would i have to pay for damage if the accident is my own fault?

Is it just me, or does it seem atheists are trying to take God out of everything? This country was founded by the Christian faith, now they are trying to take His name out of the Pledge of Allegiance.
This question is for serious christians, if you don't believe in God, or you just wanna get on here with dumb jokes about God just to be funny don't answer, if you don't like it, why even waste your time answering me?

She's about one year old and probably sick(because she keeps almost vomiting). I'm a HUGE animal lover and I'm already half in love with her. Also, she's really thin. I really like this guy who happens to be one of my best friends. Usually the girls he likes are skinny and pretty and perfect. I am not attractive. (The only people who have ever told me I was pretty were my parents and my best friend) I want to tell him I like him. If your best girl friend liked you, would you give her a chance, even though she is not as pretty as the girls you usually like? I am really insecure and have really low self esteem and he is the only guy who has EVER made me feel loved.

There is one girl I like a whole lot, but I feel she doesn't like me the same way. In Europe, or the UK at least, there are 2 types of liberal
1) Economic liberalism: which is concerned with deregulation of markets, removal of trade restrictions and as little government control as possible. Your basic free marketeers which is why it confuses me when some Americans call all 'liberals' socialists.

2) Social liberalism, which is primarily concerned with the preservation of civil liberties, social justice (a better deal for the poor etc), and as little government interference on your private affairs (who you can and cannot marry, what your religion is). But it’s the American conservatives who like to describe themselves as the small government side.

It seems that somehow what Americans call liberal is something completely different from what the UK would term liberal. Like the way football is a completely different thing on each side of the Atlantic.

This begs the question, what the hell does the word 'liberal' mean in America?

No, I am not a "wall-flower", I am enough assertive. But I let people upset me. Often. I actully had to learn words to say like: "I find your behaviour unacceptable" and stuff like that. Still I question myself and beat myself up a lot, rather than say "screw you". Why is it so difficult? Are you the same? Is it because of an abusive childhood?

I recently got engaged, we have been together for 4 wonderful years. My bf's father is an extremely self centered man that get horribly jealous when attention is taken away from him and basically pouts and makes childish statements when either noone pays attention to him or doesnt do what he wants. We are currently planning our wedding and have decided to do it overseas where I have lots more family. His mother is fine with the idea and so is his sister. He called tonight and stated that he had "bad news" and that neither his sister, him or his mother would be going to the wedding as he "wouldnt survive the flight sitting for 4 hours."(nothing wrong with him aside from being a hipochondriac) My boyfriend called his sister to ask her why she wouldnt be going and she said she hadnt talked to him in a week so that wasnt true, all she had said was she had to save for it, same thing was said by his mom. A friend of friend is a truffle hunter and we ended up with 3 wild white truffles... the problem is, I've never cooked with, seen or tasted them. They're supposed to taste like garlic? Anyway, I'm having my parents over for dinner tonight and I'm making stuffed peppers along with a bunch of other things. I thought maybe I could grate them into my pepper stuffing? Why waste time? This has always amazed me as to how some people truly think they are getting something out of a situation like this. There are plenty of singles in this world so why bother with an individual who is already taken and has no interest in reciprocating all that lost effort? What are some of your thoughts? (Thanks God I've never experienced this however know of quite a few people who have had the unfortunate chance of going through nonsense hell like this--whew!)

Here is a video clip from KAKE News that I recieved in an email from my teacher who is actually in the video. It is about a group of active duty marines who pull together to help a veteran marine who served in vietnam from Greenburg, KS who lost everything in the tornado which occurred a little while back! Unfortunately, I wasn't performing regular backups. I tried to do a Windows repair, but the option wasn't available. Luckily, I'm able to copy the data from the drive to another drive before I reformat.

I'm considering a few different options for backup solutions:
1. Backup to 2 external drives, using Norton Ghost. I was thinking of using 2 in case 1 fails.
2..Set up a RAID configuration with 2 internal drives (not yet sure how to do this

Which one of these is a preferable solution? Any other suggestions?

Also, is it any better to install only the OS on 1 drive, and then install all other programs & keep most data files on another drive? I was thinking that if my OS ever failed again, I could reinstall the OS and since my applications are on another drive, I wouldn't have to reinstall them.

Also, I'm considering installing the OS on a Raptor drive to make the PC boot up and run faster, Any opinions on if this would be worth th extra drive cost?
