It is about a group of active duty marines who pull together to help a veteran marine who served in vietnam from Greenburg, KS who lost everything in the tornado which occurred a little while back! It is really touching and I am blessed that we have the military and the armed forces. Thank you for what you are doing and god bless you all!!

Kay, it is a common thing for young soldiers/marines to take care of older soldiers/marines and for the older ones to help out the younger ones. Notice most of the posts on here of those that are *actually* doing something for our troops are veterans, wives or family of those serving. It is a good thing.

If only the protected were more grateful and did more for our troops and their families!

The motto of the United States Marine Corps is Semper Fidelis which translates to Always Faithful.......to to the Corps as well as to each other.
The Marines were first commissioned in November 1775 by the Continental Congress before the Union was formed.

The military is a huge family. There's a bunch of military personnel that get quite close to eachother. Which is what you really would like especially in situations as the one in this case, and if you get deployed you want to be close because it helps moral and there's a lot less accidents everyone looks out for eachother.

Even after seeing this unbelievable camaraderie and brotherhood there is still people out there that spit on the military and say it is not worth joining. You will never find people that will be behind you more than the men and women that you have served with. You would never find that kind of brotherhood in any civilian job, sometimes not even in your own family.
