She's about one year old and probably sick(because she keeps almost vomiting). I'm a HUGE animal lover and I'm already half in love with her. Also, she's really thin. I'm only 15 years old but I should be getting a job soon. I already have one cat. My parents hate animals and probably won't help at all but I think I can manage. What should I do?

Hopefully your parents will become more compassionate about this. She definitely needs to see a vet. Make sure she has fresh water & food every day. Soft food once a day at least, if you can. Show her lots of affection. But hopefully you can convince your parents to get it to a vet. No APL though. If she's sick they'd just put her down. Start asking around about the cat, if someone wants it. Or if your parents will allow it, let it in and take care of it, at least til it gets better so it doesn't have to fight for food or shelter outside. Fatten her up some if you can and take pics and make a picture poster.

BUT be careful who inquires about her. Go with your gut-if it's someone you think is just an idiot and doesn't really wanna deal with a cat or if it will keep it outside, then say no to them.

Good luck!

If your parents let you keep her would but it would be lots of work remember if it's sick you probably would have to pay the vet bills to get her spayed. But besides that it would be loads of fun. But also cats don't usually get along together that well.

If you keep her you need to have her taken to a vet BEFORE being near your cat. She could be sick and could get your cat sick. Make sure you wash your hands when you are done petting her. My kitty got a cold from me petting my friends cat and not washing my hands when I came home.

bless your heart !! take her and nurse her back to health. If you can't afford to keep her then try to re-home her if your parents will not allow you to keep her. Well - I guess this is the typical reaction from another pet(animal) lover - don't tell your parents lol

you should defiently keep her but put up some signs. dont be greedy and try to keep her without trying to find the owner. just imagine how you would feel. if no one comes for it then keep it so you dont have to bring it to a home or a pund. those are not good places.

Try to help the poor kitten, but remember vet bills get expensive.
