I'm planning on moving from Australia to the UK in November and I'm hoping to start work straight away. However, I'm meeting family in Scotland during Christmas for 2 weeks and am afraid that if I start an accounts position (which I have experience in) then I'll have to quit the job almost as soon as I start to actually get to Scotland for the Chrissy break. Would it be better just to look for bar work, or something similar, until Christmas, then start my accounts work once I come back...?

We had a short and intense relationship. We fought and she broke it off saying that she loved me but our relationship was not in a solid foundation. I tried for months to get back unsuccesfully. We were apart some time. It seemed like we were going back on track when I found in a cruel way that she was with another guy. I was heartbroken. I gave up on her and after some time I started a relationship with another gal. In the meantime she apparently dumped the other guy and wanted to be back with me. I told her I had a gf. A friend of hers said she was crying. It didn't work out with the other girl so I'm free again. Last I talked to her she was very angry and said I played with her feelings and that she broke my heart out of spite because of previous problems. She is angry I commited with another girl and not her and that I forgot her so soon . She was my first love and still love her. But I also think we have hurt each other too much to have any future together.
What do you think?

Here is the senario: 65 million years ago an adult female T-Rex (the female is larger than the male) is searching for an easy meal. At 7 metres tall, 12 metres long, and 7tons. It has 50 to 60 thick, conical, bone-crunching teeth. Large bite marks found on bones of other dinosaurs indicate that these teeth could penetrate solid bone.
She happens to come upon a Deinosuchus (the largest crocodilian that ever lived) nest and goes to eat the hatchlings that are starting to hatch. But then a huge, tremendous female Deinosuchus which is more than 13 metres and is more than 9 tons rises from the water to protect his young. Deinosuchus most likely preyed on fish, dinosaurs (especially the abundant hadrosaurs of the time), and anything else that strayed too close to the water.Its body was covered with bony armor (scutes). The Rex turns to challenge the mother croc. At this point there is no turning back, there is going to be a fight. Who do you think will win this fight of the Titans?...

My friend owes me some money.... She has owed me it since february. Everytime I ask her for it she says either "im broke" or "i will have to check my account"
Funny thing... She just bought a nintendo Wii! she also decided to take a trip to seattle to go have some fun for a weekend.
We have been friends for almost ten years. Should I write off the money and try to be her friend? I truely feel like I am not a priority to her.

My husband and I are constantly fighting and getting back together. During our last "break" I applied for a position that would take me 2 1/2 hours away from where we live now. I would know no one and be starting fresh. We made up kind of yesturday and I got a call today to say I have an interview. Should I go?? I am so confused. I'm learning to drive. As part of my preparation, I want to know how to maintain my vehicle to make it roadworthy. I don't want to be own a car and not know the basic rules on how to look after a car, particularly the tyre pressure and engine condition. This is why I am asking what the correct tyre pressure for any normal family car. Neither do I know the answer myself nor do I know if there is a national limit on it. My fiancé just transfer to A-school. She is currently in the first phase and can only have on base liberty during the training week. I know that she has to reach Phase 2 before she can get off base liberty during the training week. I live in Houston, TX and she is currently at the Great Lakes base in IL for hospital corps school. I flew up for her graduation and flew back right after. I want to drive up and do the paper work to get married and move up to live with her while she is attending a-school for the next 3 months. If I get an apartment and we get married can she live off base during a-school? I would hate to move up there and get all setup if she can’t stay with me. I would not mind picking her up everyday but if she had to be back to sleep there every night it would just be silly to do it. Thanks for any help you can give.

Why is cussing so bad? I guess the real question is why are cuss words cuss words??? They're just words! We call them disrespectful and crude, but really, there are other words that describe the same things, and the meaning is really what makes it a cuss word, isnt it???

Doesnt anyone else think we, as a society should accept these words like any other words? Because, in truth, THEY ARE JUST WORDS!!!

Another thing: people say teenagers cuss so much...well they're all just doing it to be "bad." So if we make it socially acceptable, it wont be bad anymore and therefore will acutally be used LESS!

Anyone else agree with me??
