Here is the senario: 65 million years ago an adult female T-Rex (the female is larger than the male) is searching for an easy meal. At 7 metres tall, 12 metres long, and 7tons. It has 50 to 60 thick, conical, bone-crunching teeth. Large bite marks found on bones of other dinosaurs indicate that these teeth could penetrate solid bone.
She happens to come upon a Deinosuchus (the largest crocodilian that ever lived) nest and goes to eat the hatchlings that are starting to hatch. But then a huge, tremendous female Deinosuchus which is more than 13 metres and is more than 9 tons rises from the water to protect his young. Deinosuchus most likely preyed on fish, dinosaurs (especially the abundant hadrosaurs of the time), and anything else that strayed too close to the water. Its body was covered with bony armor (scutes). The Rex turns to challenge the mother croc. At this point there is no turning back, there is going to be a fight. Who do you think will win this fight of the Titans?...

Let's see the stats. T-rex has a bite force believed to be equal to 10x a great white shark's, Deinosuchus being a little below that. D has armored scutes, a lashing tail, and is defending her young. T-rex, however, has height, greater reach, and strength. T-rex could bite down and actually pierce D's skin, and hold tight with not only it's jaws, but its neck as T-rex is believed to have the strongest neck muscles of any animal ever. However D, could almost definitely break the hold using the croc's signature "death roll". The fight would be a colossal clash of the Titans, that would probably leave one if not both crippled or killed. Then of course, we not only look at physical aspects, but instinct. The T-rex is looking for an easy meal, which this is not turning out to be. D is protecting her nest, and has that much more to fight for. I would foresee this as D being the typical crocodile mother and protecting her nest to the death if necessary. The T-rex, however would realize she has bitten off way more than she wants to chew, so to speak. T-rex backs off, and searches for easier food.

P. S. This is being dictated to me by my son, the Dinosaur nut.

T-rex can take down an animal that not only is longer, but heavier than it, and has a lower, more stable center of gravity, and what's more, evolution hasn't wiped it's ancestors off the face of the planet? I think not. Deinosuchus eats whatever it wants.

Terror croc wins!

Some people say a comet or a volcanic eruption or a meteor impact killed the dinosaurs... I say the crocodiles did it.
