Why?

I would choose...
Hmmm...
I think I would choose someone from a band I like, then I could see what it's like to tour and all that.
And I'd be with my heroes all day!
I just don't know what band I'd choose.
:]

I want to know if anyone lives where they can see the northern lights. I wish for someone to send me (via email) footage of the northern lights. If this is not possible can you give me a place to find some amazing footage of the lights.

Think about this for a minute. Why shouldn't We have a chance to express Our disgust at an inappropriate question? Who is to say that it is not Our right to let Our displeasure be known without needing to waste Our valuable 'cyber time' stuffing about with a protracted answer?

I really have a problem with them. When they tell me to send to x many people, it angers me... ESPECIALLY when they speak of reprecussions (ie, bad luck, physical harm, or lay blame--you don't love/care enough to do so) if you do Not send them back out.

I have been used and manipulated most of my life and I have had enough of it. I cannot help getting angry at the pathetic tactics used in trying to manipulate us into forwarding their cute, funny, sad, interesting, inspiring, or informative material.

If it were that good, people would eagerly pass it on, without guilt or threats. It is something I have a real problem with and I refuse to send such mail, no matter how clever the context. I was wondering how many felt the same as I do.

If so, state the name and the locality where you live.

I have met 7 different men with the name, "Robert Carl Jones", mostly in the Southwestern US, but I knew one guy with this name who married a neighbor of mine back East.

Most people believe Smith and Jones are the most common surnames. However, Williams may be the most common American surname. Your opinion?

Okay so I just sort of fell into my faith and I don't know where to go from here. I actually Emailed a pastor asking for advice, but it's been about a month since he told me he'd put me in contact with the assistant pastor at the church. So I've basiclly accepted that that's fallen through. What I need to know, is what do I do now. My parents didn't really take me to church as a child and I just started reading the Bible. I'm 16 by the way. I mean do I just walk into a church and sit down, or do I need to, I dont know introduce myself to the head of that church first. As you can see I'm really quite clueless when it comes to this subject. So I was hoping all you girls and guys could help me out. As I said before please only answer the question with a real answer. Thanks!

To call oneself a chemist, a person must have a degree in Chemistry. To call oneself a student of statistics, a person must have had it at a certain level.
To call oneself a Hindu, Muslim, Christian or Jew, shouldn't one have experience of STUDYING its scriptures?
I have seen some comments from reasonable people wherein they attribute things to scriptures which are totally opposite to what's in there.
Should we just follow the religion of our forefathers and call all other religions wrong or should we study all of them?
How can a person be a follower of a religion without actually studying in detail its scriptures?

A cylindrical brass rod (cross-sectional area = 1.20 x 10-5 m2) hangs vertically straight down from a ceiling. When a 790-N block is hung from the lower end of the rod, the rod stretches. The rod is then cooled such that it contracts to its original length. By how many degrees must the temperature be lowered?
