Dad's dry sense of humor - mixed bag. On one hand, it lightens an otherwise serious personality. On the other hand, I'm a total smartass. Not proud of it, but I don't deny it.
Mom's unsentimentality- good except when I'm expected to watch Lifetime movies and be touched by the fact that some woman loves her kid or falls in love with some hunk. Beautiful, now can we watch Mythbusters or something?

A few very good things.
One is business- Book keeping, running my own business.
Another is saving a dollar, survival and to cook, sew and run a household as a single parent or as a couple.
And the best trait was kindness towards others of all walks of life.

I inherited my moms sense of humor, which is a good thing cause shes hillarious! My step dad always tells us that.

I inherited all their bad habits like smoking and drinking (which I no longer do thank goodness) and all their bad things like impatience, stubbornness.

Stubbornness, both my Mum & Dad are, and so are me and my siblings. It can be annoying, but it makes for interesting discussions.

i am a total neat freak!! (from my mom) i think it is a good thing. ........... i never invite people over cause i dont want them to make a mess, so that means i always have to go to them, which is ok with me.
